  1. 13. Unfortunately, unable to read it on my Kindle, so don’t know if this is relevant. During a routine medical check, my GP tried to.persuade me to have a “winter covid booster”. When I politely declined, I was asked why. My response that, for over 30 years, I was fit and healthy, regularly running half marathons, and rarely catching even a cold. Then, in order to travel abroad, and foolishly trusting the ‘the science’, I had 2 Astra Zenica jabs and a Pfizer booster. Within 18 months, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer; had an operation for an abdominal aeortic aneurysm; paralysed for 3 weeks with Guillen Barre Syndrome; and told I have Paget’s disease of the pelvis. Her reply was that I couldn’t blame the covid vaccinations for that. My response was that, in the Army, I learned that once was unfortunate, twice was coincidence, while three or more was enemy action. We still parted on good terms (I have a brilliant GP).

    ……

    JH: Posting this soon too.

    • She advises you to take untested injections which lead to you getting potentially fatal symptoms and you describe her as a brilliant GP. I know who I won’t be asking for references.

      • Sometimes, I’m afraid, my sarcasm isn’t all that obvious, though she really was brilliant when my late wife was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy, pushing consultants and hospitals. Unfortunately, their treatment wasn’t enough, and she came to the funeral to apologise for that.

  2. 11 Dancing Queen came out shortly after we were wed so I’m going with 1976 ish

    ……

JH: That’s what was said at the account by most. I ent for a bit past midway 70s, could not say exactly.

  3. Donny and Barron, Baron, whatever his name is are two different people at different stages in life.

What could cause a fatal disease in one in 30 years doesn’t really make any difference to Donny but it does to Barron. Both weighed up the options and made a choice. That is how it should be compulsion should be resisted.

I had the same dilemma with my mum. She was advised to take it and did. Was ill immediately and died of a turbo cancer a few years later but she made the choice. I advised against it but it was her choice. She thought her doctor was brilliant too.

    ……

    JH: Anxiety plus, tragedies too.
