  1. 15. “Model?” It’s a Mercedes Kerb-Crawler, isn’t it?

P.S. Mr Assange is a happy chappy, isn’t he? I never had a high opinion of him but was outraged at the treatment the US, and especially UK, government subjected him to. If he now wants to crow, so be it.

  2. James, a mate phoned and he needs help with his dogs. The short of it is he was out exercising his four working cockers this morning (gun dogs all) and he’s turned his ankle on a tree root – the type that grows along the ground, difficult to see sometimes. It’s a bad sprain so he’s on crutches. Wife is away on business and won’t be back till Friday. His place is a stone cottage with a handful of acres on the Wiltshire/Dorset border. Times are hard in the countryside and he trusts me with his dogs. I’ll be off early tomorrow morning and should back Friday evening. Thanks.

    JH: Good man.

    • The age of the cottage (it’s very old) and its location means he has to make do with a water well. It’s what he wanted. No postal delivery as the track to his place is Land Rover terrain. I think they call it living ‘off grid’. Needless to say he has no internet. However he did serve with 63 Signals Squadron so he has ham radio, and that’s how he got medical attention this morning. Most of the farms around him have amateur radio. See you later alligator 🙂
