(1137) Interesting … there are some women whose voices are like lullabies … there’s one I play if wishing to get to sleep quickly … pretty sure they’d not be impressed to hear that but it’s so … there are ladies whose writing does the same … they just have this je ne sais quoi shal we say.

Not all of Grifty’s are the same … one or two recent ones are … er … ok. But when she drops into anecdotal rants of her life and how she sees the world around her, she’s on song and I for one lie there in bed, listening, quite impressed, wrapped in her you might say (as distinct from rapt … different other thing). Her voice … and those of most women, drop into that mesmerising cadence and … well, I for one just fall asleep.

It’s similar to how many men, having expressed their feeling towards the love of their life, physically, now happy chappies, fall off and fall asleep, contented … which is not what she was hoping for … she wanted to talk. But she created those good vibes, so what’s she on about, eh? 🙆‍♂️

Well, Grifty in this case was making perfect sense over at 1073 … one of her best offerings yet … so guess what? Yep, I’ve just had an unscheduled third sleep of the night and early morning. Do give her a listen over there … the political content I mean (cough).
