JH: Let’s each keep our eye on this one. For what it’s worth, I’m a 2A supporter, though in Britland, I know many aren’t. I don’t buy the “take the guns” arguments … real blue state stuff.
The 2A is so that citizens can fight back against a tyrannical government, one that has machine guns, missiles and nukes all supported by tanks and aircraft.
So its not really surprising Trump doesn’t support machine guns. He is after all part of the government and he sees himself under threat by them understandably.
Although TBH like many rich people he has never, imo, fully supported “A but to his credit he does support it as part of the constitution. He has just drawn a line that he is comfortable with.
