a) The automobile group Stellantis announced in a press release on Sunday the resignation “with immediate effect” of its CEO Carlos Tavares, at the head of PSA since 2014, then of Stellantis since 2021.
…..
JH (0702): Another on the “fundamental interconnectedness of all things” theme, as I have a connection to what Stellantis does … it most certainly affects me in a secondary way, maybe eventually in a primary way, disrupting life as I know it at our abode, plunging us once again into a living hell … problem is, I can’t publicly explain. Classic case of it not being one’s own doings and surrounds but that of others around us … we are unfortunately not islands, no matter how far we organise for it to be so. Interesting that DAD chose to run this item first.
b) International markets appear to be increasingly weary of potential political instability in France, pushing up interest rates.
c) Feathers have been ruffled by the unearthing of a secret letter from the German Vice-Chancellor and Greens party member Robert Habeck to the then-French energy minister Agnès Pannier-Runacher in the summer of 2022.
d) Monotreme corner today.
3. DAD’s second drop first from 896
“President Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter tonight, allowing the younger Biden to avoid a possible prison sentence for federal gun and tax convictions. Mr. Biden issued the pardon despite his past promises not to do so. President-elect Donald Trump responded to the pardon, saying the real miscarriage of justice was the ongoing imprisonment and prosecution of the J6 protesters.”
As there’ll be much said this week and subsequently, which we’ll mention here in due course, there are two immediate reactions I for one have:
a. Where does that place the wrongful lawfare on DJT and how they plan to dispose of that.
b. What else is this pardon distracting us from, look around 270 degrees, folks, be vigilant.
