Trad wife being a wife and mother … you can imagine the feminazi harpy screaming and pushback.

23. Hmmmmm

Epoch says:

“Former Florida congressman Matt Gaetz wrote Thursday he is withdrawing himself from consideration as President-elect Donald Trump’s choice for U.S. attorney general.

“It is clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work” of the Trump administration, Gaetz wrote in a statement posted to social media platform X.

Gaetz said he met with senators a day earlier and had “thoughtful feedback” and received “incredible support” from many of them.”

You wot? What did they have on him? I smell McCarthy behind this … he seems to have influence over DJT.

Further delving shows that Murky, Collins, McSenile and one from Utah opposed, rest were with Gaetz.

Nick Sortor: Matt Gaetz only resigned his seat from the 118th Congress. But he was just elected to serve in the 119th Congress, which begins in January. Matt Gaetz is *still* a Representative-elect.

“Reeves’ inheritance tax raid on farmers was a live issue. The Lib Dem’s Daisy Cooper cited a constituent’s family who, if forced to sell land to meet the charge, would find their food production economically unviable. Replying to a Midlands MP on the same problem, Rayner repeated Starmer’s claim that ‘the vast majority of farms will not pay any inheritance tax’; yet Burghart had earlier quoted the NFU’s estimate that ‘75% of all commercial farms will fall above the threshold.’ Yesterday Badenoch got a great cheer when she told the farmers’ rally in London that Conservatives would cancel that tax at the first opportunity.

Lovely chap, Rolf, fair to all sides, even the LibDems, unlike us … pack of right bstds that we are. 😎

Thursday [11 to 14]

(1059) Just back, been doing accounts all morn, there’s a one hour window now, then a tech review session with a techie for who knows how long … mid-afternoon back to blogging hopefully.

Interesting conditions, just went out in it … very tiny iceballs … not sure if it’s hail or sleet.(1539)

a) Life in modern France. About forty young people chased a student they were looking for and had spotted, on Place Montcalm … “They pushed teachers,” confirms a high school student. They were looking everywhere. The lady who was at reception was jostled and a student was kicked …..”

b) The success of the exhibition “Luxe de Poche”, which was due to end on 29 September at the Musée Cognacq-Jay, in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, led its management to extend it until the end of November. A disastrous decision: on Wednesday 20 November, at around 10:30 am, four hooded men stole, in the presence of visitors, five collector’s boxes and snuff boxes by smashing the display case containing them with axes and baseball bats.

Wednesday [14 till close of play]

(1449) Evening all. That mooted visitation is still on late afternoon or early evening, so shan’t be blogging during that time, chaps and chapesses.

(1930) Much from Andy, IYE, Steve up at 884 … quite some reading and watching … not transferring here, am awaiting MftWC x 4, too cream-crackered for anything else tonight. Sleep well, all.

(1920) I’m back, was quite a business this evening with five of us, all done, all good. Now … world affairs:

Starting to think the adults are back in the room again … this is world survival we’re talking about. I believe Christian prayer had a lot to do with it, you have your viewpoint.

6. Pure USSR in every detail, inc. the out-and-out lies to us

TCW:

“Starmer has recommended that the police focus on tackling violent crime and burglaries instead of questioning people over their social media posts. This is in line with public opinion, but appears to be the opposite of what goes on. The Chief Constable of Essex Police, Ben-Julian Harrington, who sent two of his officers to Allison Pearson’s house on Remembrance Sunday morning, actively encourages public complaints under the Malicious Communications Act (1988). Not content with making sure people know what a hate crime is, he provides blow-by-blow instructions on how to report them …”
