The early years of the world
This re-runs something I put up at the old N.O. and is, imho, a fine overview, in which he takes one of a number of interpretations on each successive point, which together form a cohesive whole. The episodes below are 4 to 8 of some 70+ overall … in these in particular, I thought he did a pretty good job.
The key episode, imho, is n8, as it explains so much of today’s dire situation and for me personally … well I’ve been involved with some of these people, face to face so to speak.
The eighth seems to have been embedding disabled … it says by the video owner but this would only be because Them disapproved of it getting out … which our experience tells us means the nail has indeed been hit on the head.
I’m not upset by this as it could well turn out to be a safety valve.
(0632) Morning all. Grifty, you’ll recall, opens her pieces with “… you gorgeous, good looking people” and I was thinking (dangerous I know) … that that’s quite nice. Critics might call it insincere but I’d call it all-inclusive for those of her mindset. And let’s face it … would you prefer waking up to “we’re doomed, doomed y’hear” or to… “Morning, you intelligent, discerning, patient patrons …” or similar? (Brits of course would recognise Private Frazer in that “doomed” one and might smile at it.) (0734)

4. Shorts
Bin thinking … when I group multiple shorts under one number, the power of each seems diminished, unless a single author. I’m thinking let each have it’s own number. Quite like this guy:

a) Britain’s food supply is facing a growing new threat after a wave of suspected arson attacks targeted farms across the country while the UK endures what experts warn could become the worst harvest since records began.
Police have urged farmers to remain on high alert amid a series of suspicious fires destroying hay and straw stores, with investigators examining whether the attacks are being fuelled by a viral challenge circulating on the Chinese Communist Party-linked social media platform TikTok.
b) Despite a raft of measures in recent years, cold telephone calls still plague daily life in France. The government has now opted for a tougher crackdown.
Cold calling is about to come to an end. (JH: I’m taking this one up later, separately.)
c) Giorgia Meloni rejects Sánchez ultimatum to lift Schengen checks
Rome has tied any review of the suspension to intelligence warnings of a fresh mass crossing attempt at Ceuta.

(0452) We get these Damascene moments, esp. if we believe something deep down. And one thing clear to me is that my focus needs to be not only on news gathering as we’ve been doing but also doing my own “magpie mind” thing in “bits from here and there I find” and bring them back to this nest. That starts to make sense. (0539)
The Magpie Mind this Sunday morn
In other words … integrity, reputation within our “community”, what our name means is everything. Yes, esp. in this community here, where deep diving and accuracy are essential. Also the baddies will always exploit our weaknesses.
For some reason, I took that line, no idea why, in my long book … that things happen, not just because of a linear timetable, cause and effect, but because of conjunctions of circumstances, even IYE’s “coinky-dinks”. And the obvious question is … how random? Or is it designed and directed?
That berr-eh-sheet youtube had many things wrong with it in itself:
Then we come to young women today:

Boys … would you go anywhere near one of these, these days? Need your head read if so. What does she offer, except poor, self-centred nooky?
Here endeth this Magpie Mind for today.
(1447) Afternoon all, nowhere near evening.

A government commission ostensibly created to investigate why Jeffrey Epstein and his protectors were never investigated in NM brazenly failed to investigate and continues to protect the powerful.

14. The horror “journos” of the MSM
This is a strange one and I’m trying to decipher why this young guy should go after this Kay Burley. I do know of her … a horror such as Vorderman, Maitlis, Bash, Winfrey etc. For awhile, Lara Logan was like that but Cairo woke her out of it.

8. That Alex Meltdown
Middle-aged, middle-class, pretend-dissident ladies who luv Nige (such a Nice boy), likely from the Midlands, SE coast, London or south coast to Cornwall, wanting a party which just seems so Nice, despite Yusuf, the MCB and ££££s controlling our Nige. Nice controlled opposition.

Sam, “My Panopticon found the Secret Tunnels in Manchester”.
“My Panopticon camera is a specialised device designed to capture images with an exceptionally wide, elongated field of view, much broader than what a standard camera lens can see. They achieve this using wide-angle lenses, rotating mechanical lenses, or multiple synchronised image sensors to record sweeping landscapes or 360-degree scenes.”
It’s either AI or scripted but still makes its point:
(0545) Morning all … warm in here, wonder how it is out there. (0706)

a) France. The Corsican National Liberation Front-Union of Combatants (FLNC-UC) released a video on Thursday, in which around twelve armed, hooded members stand with submachine-guns and rifles. The Corsican separatists has threatened tourists thinking of moving to the island or buying second homes.
b) The invention of Zack Polanski (Real name David Paulden.) Why did the Green Party leader name himself after a fictional mini-Messiah?
c) Rwanda negotiates with Italy over taking in expelled asylum seekers. Kigali says Rome’s plan could build on a transit centre near the capital that has sheltered asylum seekers evacuated from Libya.
d) “Biggest SCAM ever!” Prince Harry exposed in $46 million legal scandal that will DESTROY him.
1. Let’s get biblical
You know the Olivia Newton John song Let’s Get Physical (written with a rock artist like Rod Stewart in mind before being passed to Olivia Newton-John … she having been a pupil at a school I once taught at a long time after) … thereby rendering her a Jezebel, as Stewart was being rendered a satyr … as was Tam Lin … and who was the girl led astray in that Scottish folk song?
Her name was Janet, in “her kirtle green a bit aboon her brie”, “so she can run swiftly to Carterhaugh, a forbidden place where she meets Tam Lin”. And who was my first gf when I was 12? Janet. And who was my first full-on gf when I was 15? Janet … we’re still in touch. And who was the first I spent the night with? Marie, which ruins the coinky dinks, does it not?
And still on Fairport Convention, what of Reynardine?
That’s the first motif in this post … the satyr and the Jezebel nymph. The second is the coinky-dink (as IYE might term it) of so many world events right now having biblucal references … the very conflict in the middle-east and now visited upon our own lands has quite ancient antecedents … for example Revelation 3:9 (connected with Philadelphia … do you know what that name means?) …
… then the young Scot comes in, reminding us of Semiramis … and guess what was right beside it in the sidebar? This:

… which is interesting to me because up at Orphans plus Jstack will soon be an X post by Matt van Swol on fakery and another tomorrow by Amelia, on inversion, and another on Tuesday by Melinda Richards, summing up our current situation.
Coinky-dinks all. Or how about our DAD this morning … with me having only just written a long piece on this whole topic around 0500 … in comes DAD with an addendum to his piece:

Might be referring to JHB or that Alex Woman, no idea yet, coz I’m writing at you rather than reading …
… which gets me onto the third post motif … slow down, slow down … like in the song yesterday here called Click Click …

… which was also about rushing us into decisions … “faster faster faster faster stop!” Bitterly regret at your leisure.
And my last motif for now … EGO … as in overweening ego … as in I’m the Star around here. No no no no … there are no stars, only very naughty boys (and girls), miserable yet reformed sinners, falling again (let’s get biblical), then standing up again … slowly slowly.
Plus making sure you are actually in place to follow your cue:

So I’ll stop for now here and get onto the Orphans and Jstack post. Have a great weekend.
