JH: I for one am quite out of touch with sport just now … vague idea LFC won the League, England had some fightback in cricket, rugby, Wimbledon is on and someone on X said the after match commentary adds nothing to the game. Can’t comment as not watching.

Djokovic … interesting character … still desperately going for popularity. He started as the Joker years ago, with Sharapova, Ivanova etc., did impersonations … but character to steely and resentful, while Federer was the normies’ darling.
Speaking personally, I’d put him at the top of my tennis faves on the strength of how Oz treated him during the Covid scam, though a consistently top player can’t be all that nice a guy to stay up at the top.

Probably plenty of other things to add to this … big thing is to stick to the “nils carborundum” and if a believer in the things underpinning us, as Redacted reminds us, plus our longtimers’ reminders … just hang in there for now. I’ve just switched the phone off, plus the door buzzer, Operation Max Sleep is underway.
