6. Why run internal Oz politics?

Firstly, because Pauline Hanson is seen as a potential threat, secondly because it’s Sky News Oz, the GB News of Oz.

The text just says One Nation Australia is doing well. The Sky News man asked her about being the main rival of the Nationals.

All right, break this down. The ALP are Labor, trad vote nearing 40%. Second are the Liberals, the so-called conservatives, trad vote around 35%. The Nationals, once the Country Party, meaning the landed gentry in farming, were trad 10%. Liberals, as govt, were always in coalition with the Nationals. There’ve been UK LibDem type “third” parties from time time.

Nats seem down at 2% just now … all three parties are seen by more and more as Uniparty or else irrelevant. However, Australian normies are probably even thicker and prevented from having a fair press even more than UK normies.

I’m not up to speed on Oz politics any more than Canadian or Euro nations’ but there are some lovely ladies in each of those places feeding du jour (daily) items and so I’m partially au fait for that reason.
