Yes, plenty of men on the list of incompetent, corrupt, insane … throw in Brown, Cameron, going to stop, otherwise would have to name dozens straight off … but sadly, it’s the “modern” women who stand out in their ineptitude and criminality:

Re #20 – I still carry my cards in a wallet for larger purchases, with cash for small items, and there are some small businesses now requesting the latter so they don’t have to pay transaction charges. I don’t have any “Smart” devices, not that they would have been much use when I popped in to the local supermarket last night. An employee on the door was telling everybody that contactless payments were down, and only card payment (inserted into the reader) or cash were useable. Fortunately, I had specifically taken an assortment of coins to pay for my vegetables, so the evening meal went ahead as normal.
I still find cards more convenient that the phone. A few cards in a tiny, card-sized wallet are light in the pocket but my phone isn’t. I don’t have to bring up an app with cards either, just tap and go.
