  1. 6. WW2 veterans – I can attest to the mood of veterans. During my time serving in HM Forces I chewed the fat with many former army commandos at various gathering – at a time when most were in their middle 60’s. The term they used was ‘sold out’: both Tory and Labour had betrayed what they did for their country and flooded the place with third world migrants. I didn’t meet any who disagreed. People forget the sacrifice they made, if you take my Dad’s uncle he left England in 1940 and was gone for 5 years. His daughter was born 5 months after he left on a troopship from Plymouth, so she was five when he walked through the door of his home in June 1945.

Bill was a private when he left and returned a staff sergeant with seven pieces of shrapnel in his body after being wounded three times in action. This man fought the Germans in North Africa, Greece, Sicily and the big one in Northern Europe. He had a chest-full of medals but sadly died in 1966. Politicians piss on the graves of men like Bill, just like they do to all the men who down the centuries have fought to keep our homeland ours. Words really do fail when we try to describe what these miserable nothings have done to our beloved country. They hate us and that’s a fact born of history.

    JH: Absolutely.
