16. More Brit politics – re the solar farm it’s 750 acres worth, so panels by the thousands. End of life? Each and every panel will be buried somewhere, because they can’t be recycled – after which they leach toxic chemicals into the soil, thus rendering it useless for crops. So farewell Easton Maudit, thanks to Mad Ed Miliband within months everything under the panels will die, and you’ll likely never see a lapwing again.
My reply to Alan Sked is from Esther McVey, who wrote in her column in Tuesday’s Daily Express:
‘All you need to know is this Labour government is led by internationalists. They despise “nationalism”. They don’t share our patriotic view of Britain. They are ashamed of our country’s history and heritage and want to destroy it.’
