i lived in Texas most of my life.
my favorite hiking/camping/backpacking were in that area. my fave rv site was in k’ville and is now apparently gone. been hunting all around there Many times. flash floods happen. even with me in RL. still, too many coinky dinks.gut says- FF.
sticking to a “recent topic” of mine- camp miss tick was aProtestant camp. odd name for such a group. didn’t exist when i frequented that area. k’ville had for a while, what was reputed to be the largest free standing cross in america. prominently displayed on a hill top. multiple gun training/tactical training organizations in nd nearby. or, used to be. maybe gone now.
