My own view is for many Reform UK is our last best hope and if they fail we move into uncharted waters as a country. Had a long, long chat yesterday with a mate who in a previous life was a sniper of renown amongst his peers – I appreciate his clarity of thought; his dislike of intellectuals; his devotion to his ancestors, love of homeland. He too thinks Reform could be controlled opposition. We spent an hour on that one. Reminiscing he told me of a shot he made as a warning to a tribal elder: he dropped his prized Arabian horse from a distance of 900 metres. Was he telling me something or just boasting? He wasn’t the bragging type. Snipers always carry a backup weapon 🙂
