a) Rosa-Parks district in Paris (19th arrondissement): Mohamed and Mam claim to be poor warehouse workers… These two migrants, already convicted and banned from the country, are suspected of dealing ….

b) On April 3, 2026, France co-vetoed a United Nations Security Council resolution that would have authorised military force to reopen the Strait of Hormuz — and on the same day, the Malta-flagged CMA CGM Kribi, owned by the world’s third-largest container shipping line, completed its transit of the Strait after coordinating directly with Iranian maritime authorities and paying a $2 million toll in Chinese yuan….

c) Austria’s state broadcasting behemoth ORF has come under criticism for what regulators call its one-sided reporting on the Gaza war….

d) Paris (8th arrondissement): A Malian migrant received a suspended sentence for stealing Joan of Arc’s sword from a statue.  Unable to explain his actions, his lawyer pleaded for Christian forgiveness….

1. Tabling

From time to time, it’s needed for me to restate modus operandi and mention the nomenclature used here at nourishing unherdables on its various pages.

“Tabling” (or variation on the word) is a trigger for you, meaning the material was tabled somewhere in raw form across our pages, no further editing. In other words … “buried” … sometimes “in plain sight”, “en pleine”, sometimes cryptically. Always “sufficient”, “signposted” well enough to proceed.

Nero Wolfe used a term in “The Doorbell Rang” … that’s “reserved” … meaning it’s been tabled somewhere or in his case taken to a safe somewhere off premises. Quite like that term as it means it’s “raw data” intended for use but not “en pleine”.

In other words, it’s for fellow ferreters, with a brain, to dig out, using the usual signposts. For example some of Steve’s late offerings, this morning.

Remember too that for every blog, there’s a comments section. Each blog is also split into posts … and pages. Pages are not visible without a url. Therefore, it’s wise to save such a url for yourself for later retrieval, as page urls have this nasty habit of disappearing after half a day, meaning twelve hours.

Therefore, playing fair … I do not expect good readers to constantly check … traffic is of no interest to this blog, there’s not even a stat counter. This blog is for intelligent ferreters to retrieve from and use as they wish. That’s it.

Twelve hours is a fair rule of thumb to my mind … check twice a day, usually before 7 a.m. or before 7 p.m. and store the url somewhere. Today’s is called “have a good Tuesday”. /END.
