Shall I tell you about interbloodyfaith goodwill?

Blasphemy laws, eh? Precisely what these clowns are doing inside a church, which shifts the focus to whoever authorised the outrage to occur. They’re the ones headed for hell most like.

a) From Aurelio Porfiri, Italian Catholic publisher and writer, for Le Salon Beige: What is the meaning of music? I must say that this question has accompanied me practically all my life. From my earliest childhood, I devoted myself to music….

b) An open letter from ‘SOS Calvaries’ which is a group dedicated to restore Roadside Calveries and other Christian monuments.

“To the Mayors of France: Calvaries: This Forgotten Christian Heritage for Which Mayors Are Responsible. There, at the crossroads, in the shade of a large oak tree, stands a stone cross. Time has weathered the sandstone, the inscriptions have faded, but the silhouette remains….”

(JH: This is where I’m thinking it requires more than a quick glance. Translating takes work, it deserves more than just a cursory glance, I for one appreciate the effort, DAD.)

  1. Google has taken most of the effort out of translation, nevertheless on has to check its work for the odd mis-or-maltranslation; also to remove those ghastly Americanisms and their grammatical errors.

    • Slight problem with that, Penseivat:

‘The purpose of Easter means the full confirmation of all that Jesus taught and preached during His three-year ministry. If He had not risen from the dead or simply died and not been resurrected, He would have been thought of as just another teacher or prophet. However, His resurrection rebuked all that and provided final and undeniable proof that He was the Son of God and that He had overcome death once and for all.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is the core of the Christian gospel. Saint Paul says that if Christ is not raised from the dead, then our preaching and hope are in vain (1 Cor. 15:14). Certainly, without the resurrection, there would be no Christian preaching or faith. The apostles of Christ would have continued as the disheartened group, which the Gospel of John depicts as being in hiding for fear of the Jews.’

The Religion of Peace™ does not recognise Jesus as the Son of God: he is merely a prophet, second from last.

      Qur’an 4:

      157. And because of their saying (in boast), “We killed Messiah ‘Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allah,” – but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of ‘Iesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not ‘Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary).

      • Thanks for that, Steve. Perhaps I should apologise for not putting “(sarc)” or ” (not gonna happen) “. at the end. It would then have shown my personal view about Islamic prayers in a Christian church, in that, where Islam and Christianity is concerned, acceptance of different religions only seems to go one way.
