Today’s perhaps? – news this morning on HMS Prince of Wales being readied for deployment to the Med – be interesting to see if it gets a full compliment of F-35B’s as one squadron from HMS Queen Elizabeth will be needed for that at a minimum. At least 2 weeks before it gets there methinks. In the meantime the US is deploying a third carrier strike group to the Middle East. CSG 10 will be the USS George H.W. Bush as flagship plus one guided-missile cruiser and three guided-missile destroyers. She will join the USS Abraham Lincoln and USS Gerald R. Ford strike groups sometime next week. The firepower from these three will be awesome.
