1. Cautionary tale
To survive the next, say, five years in this deliberately being-disintegrated society, with a pitiless army of hardened aliens right near us, given that we are not only ageing more rapidly now but the medical care is sub-standard, plus they’re lying, plus they really are trying to shuffle us off through meds, “curative” and palliative “care” …
… before we despair and, still being compos mentis, still relatively sound in body too, this is a good time to take stock.
My immediate threats I thought included the house issue but maybe that’s ok after some moves yesterday. There are too many variables in this though and I literally have no alternatives right now, not a good situation to be in, still in the black though … just. Functioning society?
This planned disintegration of society? Big issue. Seeps down to us personally.
Howver, I’ve lost all many times and recovered by the Grace of God, literally. Just that factor alone takes so much of the stress away. Then there are sane decisions to make. One of those is vis-a-vis meds, diet, exercise, govt wanting to interfere, others wishing to organise problems for us. For example, just read this morning … female boss hating men, so she lowered men’s salaries rather than raising women’s. Those men have mortgages, families. She didn’t care.
Other stupid divisions too. I see proReform people on X vilifying Advance people … how stupid. As if there’s not enough real division. I ustd us v brainwashed girls and young men who’ve been fabianised … also real enemy, extant, with weapons in buildings and fiendish grins, like knives through butter I’m afraid.
But one set of non Woke versus another? Lunacy.
I come back to mental health. You have your nest egg … for now, providing all institutions honour their agreements with you. But they’re altering these, aren’t they? My bank has judt changed the Ts and Cs. In terms of digital ID compliance, I have my first test in a few weeks, medical.
The word “mandatory” looms large … these people are maniacal about us being dragged out and having to queue for basic things. I was in Russia, saw the tail end if it, was in those queues. Plus ration books in this land in the not so long ago past. The process is the punishment.
You think you’ve escaped all this? You’ve built up a standard retirement, I have not, yet am not without. They still want us suffering. Thus part of our mental health is “nil carborundum” … they will try it on, they will try all these stunts, on various pretexts … it could affect the very roof over our heads. Look at Andy just now.
I personally am close to being on the street … quite realistically, should two or three wonky things fall apart. Immediate thought is one of you and I joining forces in RL. Might work but what if the net itself is gone? We’re then creamcrackered … use phone? Expensive. Just throwing ideas in here. Funeral plans? Assets?
Am I trying to upset you, dear readers? I’m just trying to ask you to think your plans B and C through, to steel yourself to that. We have, if I say so m’sel’ which I shouldn’t … we have a nice thing here, for now, with some nice bloggers around us too we like to go to for some rationality, plus some bonhomie. And that bonhomie is very real. Just because you live light years away, then as long as those satellites work … dot dot dot. But each of us must have real plans B, C, D right now. I lost a good friend some days ago. Has not yet reappeared.
Lastly, to the upsetting nature of what is covered here at UHC. I fight hard to keep graphic horror off these pages and yet it seeps back in via backdoors. For example, I just skimmed through Corey (sidebar comment). Kudos to IYE for bringing the link. But if you go there just prior to breakfast … it’s quite nauseating. My mental health says skim rapidly, get the general idea, then get out. Ditto with podesta drawings, real atrocities too … stay true to what you can handle, what you can not. Discipline yourself to switch out, take R&R.
You MUST look after your mental health.
Yes DAD … Amelia is AI, yes “she” is … I don’t like it in principle either … machine learning. Yet “she” is doing a grand job of rekindling passion for our roots. And she really is too … it’s going viral, the Gen Zees are very good at that. All my neighbours are Gen Zees … no Millennials, no Gen X, certainly no Boomers, except two in another part of this complex. On X are dozens of Gen Zees, just a few end-Boomers. Plus we have our DAD here, plus some of you not admitting your age … I’m not admitting mine, even with my birthday in Feb.
In my book … all good. It’s 2026 for goodness sake … it’s their world now, by definition. The ones I know are nice people by and large … even caring.
That’s it … hold your morale together, your mental health … this is the primary purpose of UHC … you can get news itself anywhere … we here are just a haven, that’s it, a port in the storm, a tavern, whilst real taverns out there close down … have you seen the cost of a pint now?
But remember that all this can disappear in the blink of an eye … it can be switched off … not as long as all other parts of the system are operating, good system here … but it CAN happen. That helps with mental health. We’d then just move on, checking all our plans A, B, C, D as we go. Anyway, must get posting for the day. /END.
