15. The first item of TDS below is critical

… for any civilised society. Theory is that men build and maintain infrastructure … the female, if she’s onboard, marries that man, little feet soon patter about, she then runs the home economy, is the keeper of the culture, maybe works part-time, defends the manor afap, etc. etc. Leftism has no place with her, male respect and consideration do.

13. We’ve been looking at shorts of late

These are my stalwart workshorts (one of eight pairs … cleaned em up a little for the readers):

The string tie and zip pockets are crucial. The downside is this weather … to go outside, socks are a no-no, sartorially, as are sandals not a great idea … I use boatshoes if outside briefly (binning rubbish, collecting mail). To my mind, winter weight shorts are fabulous … far less damage when wrecking knees and elbows.

11. What the other side says

There’s a certain amount of Ed-in-Chief’s whim about any news outlet. If you look at All the President’s Men, The Parallax View, at least two of the Perry Masons … it goes on and on … there are always criticisms by both those writing and the readers, plus outside observers, of the Ed-i-C.

Also, who owns that Editor? Where is he/she positioned, politically and religiously, even which team? I start here with no wokery … upfront, it’s stated. As for a view opposed to most of us at this site, esp. when an organised view pushed hard, with mucho moolah behind it … my attitude is that readers can get that from any MSM rag or channel out there.

On the other hand, it’s as well, now and then, to see in general what they’re saying … hence this I rescued from spam:

An a priori bias on any new issue is the very worst reporter/journo temptation, particularly if owned/paid for. I’m certainly owned, no question … by the Triune God, plus any common man/woman child need.

It tends to focus on the latter … them’s our politics here, rather than to a party or denomination. Plus my techie behind the scenes, libertarian by nature, certainly influences me. Plus our boys and two girls, plus other readers.

Policy is to protect our sources, which is why my blunder the other day grates on me. To a point, I must adhere to platform policy, I agreed to it in order to use the system to get it out to you.

Penultimately … we are certainly being manipulated into anger by psy-op psycho-atrocity, leaving us in an invidious situation … yes, atrocity must be stopped, yet fools rush in before the counterhit is organised, otherwise 100k+ are slaughtered.

Last for now … our health first, esp. our mental health, our ability to soldier on, is paramount … it precedes any other consideration except for what is right or wrong … we’re no use if gibbering wrecks. In the army, in officer school, it was called, I recall … man management.

There are all sorts of things we must do. R&R is one, remaining calm in voice when confronted by those trying to upset us, biding our time, being prepared, with good intel at hand, being ready to suddenly switch to all out attack … effectively … to judge where and when … all of these are vital to getting through.
