(0208) Only reason I’m awake is the window blew open. Let’s see if a 10kg weight will stop it blowing open again. Meanwhile, some light reading below. Have a good sleep, y’all. (0314)
5. Laura Loomer says
“I’d like to bring this to the attention of Vice President JD Vance. Yesterday, your friend Tucker Carlson said, “Anyone still talking about Gaza or Iran should be called out immediately as someone who just doesn’t care about Americans.”
According to several friends of mine who attended the Vice President’s fundraising dinners in Miami, FL and Naples, FL yesterday, the Vice President spoke to donors about Iran and his desire to see a US response (which is great. I support the US bombing Iran). Additionally, President Trump spent last week in Davos with Sen Rubio, Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, speaking about his new Board of Peace and the reconstruction of Gaza. According to Tucker, that would mean JD Vance, President Trump, Marco Rubio and Steve Witkoff “don’t care about Americans”.
I know President Trump, JD Vance, Marco Rubio, Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff personally, and so I know them well enough to know they all care very much about Americans. How does our Vice President feel about his dear friend Tucker Carlson saying (that)?”
4. Never rains but it pours
Daniel Cremin posts: “I think Theresa May gets off remarkably lightly. She was by far the worst Prime Minister of 2010-24 in my book: – Rammed Net Zero through with barely any Parliamentary scrutiny or cost assessment. – Botched Brexit and ceded Northern Ireland’s regulatory sovereignty to the EU on the fly. – Reneged on her promise to open new grammar schools. – Promoted identitarian discrimination practices such as the Race at Work Charter in the private and public sector. – Gutted the police as Home Secretary and under funded the prisons as PM. – Damaged the energy market with the energy price cap framework and restrictive policies on nuclear and fossil fuels development.”
Looking obliquely now at X, were I our beloved leader, with or without the five alleged rent boys, which I’m not, I’d look closely at banning X in the UK, which I’m not doing. And if May her/him/itself allegedly said she etc. was woke and proud of it, I’d wish to first see some proof of that.
3. Andrew Bridgen has an interesting one too
“More fraud uncovered in Ukraine a $3bn ‘redirect’ of aid for Ukraine linking the deputy prime minister who has been arrested ,the EU and AstraZeneca. All ultimately benefiting Zelenskyy. You could not make this up – no wonder they want the war to continue.”
2. At the same time, DJT has put out a friendly reminder
… to Ottawa: “Based on the fact that Canada has wrongfully, illegally and steadfastly refused to certify the Gulfstream 600, 700, and 800 Jets, one of the greatest, most technologically advanced airplanes ever made, we are hereby decertifying their Bombardier Global Expresses and all Aircraft made in Canada, until such time as Gulfstream, a Great American Company, is fully certified as it should have been many years ago. Further, Canada is effectively prohibiting the sale of Gulfstream products in Canada through this very same certification process. If for any reason, this situation is not immediately corrected, I am going to charge Canada a 50% Tariff on any and all Aircraft sold into the United States of America. Thank you for your attention to this matter.”
1. You’ve heard of the Italian job
… also the French connection … well there’s also the British connection. It’s in a post on X, which puts Elon in an interesting position and thus it’s at his and DJT’s level now. My only two comments are firstly, that the DoJ refused to talk to her and secondly, that when I embedded the url, it brought up helpful prompts, including the word steel. Another fun link. Have a good Friday, all.
