The story of my life.
It is a lot more common than you think and again I blame it on females in HR and their woke everyone wins prizes ideology.
Even senior managers are scared of them and won’t rock the boat. It was much better when they were just personnel, many, many moons ago, and just looked after filling in the boring forms and makings sure people were looked after. It isn’t a big surprise that when they changed their name from personnel who looked after the peoples welfare to HR and people just became another resource.
