Of CK, EK, Rome, the eternal, ancient war
About the time of Steve’s sudden issue (see OoL, comment under my NHS post, easily found), IYE also started presenting on the TPUSA issue … but so did Toodles, who also deep reads, deep explores. All that is coming.
But may I start with a conversation yesterday with MMutR … we operate by strong assertion, counter assertion, then receipts, even adjustment of point of view. He has this knack of coming to the root of something … for example, there should be one statutory penalty for any offence, not interpretations by biased (rogue?) judges and two tier justice … he was saying that decades ago. He also first mentioned to me the idea of people’s perception of politics being a canal boat swinging over to a left bank, then over to a right bank, never just steering down the canal, calmly.
Jonathan Swift had his reds and blues, or red rosette, blue … yellow today, green, teal etc. I saw pundits speaking of an issue not being either/or, nor zero sum, nor a combative, confrontational, adversarial model of arguing but rather “bringing things to the table to be weighed for value” (Chuckles).
The true investigator is not out for evidence to support his point of view, his camp, only … but looks at all on the table there as dispassionately as he can (Sherlock Holmes) … a reasoning machine with the wisdom of Solomon and the patience of Job.
Toodles, being southern protestant, wrote:

And at this point, I say to our dear readers that this sort of thing is precisely what we at Nourishing Unherdables SHOULD be doing … digging deeper and deeper … sometimes it’s our grave. I wrote this to Toods:
“Just awoke at 05:25 a.m., coming up to your 11:30 a.m. Suddenly all this wisdom, inc. CD. But mostly your statement about stn spreading confusion and what went through the mind was what if sometimes it’s not so much fact versus fiction, fantasy, faux intentions but what if it is conflicting facts … them being facts … but conflicted?
Which is not to say there is not diabolical twisting, spin … there is, but one needs the wisdom of Solomon and patience of Job.
I quite agree about Rome, Peter, pointy hats but what if parts of that had basis but were then twisted into untruth? Very stn. For example, someone well read, biblically, is one thing … but a priesthood … ah, that’s very masonic, druid etc. … esp. with the power of excommunication.
And the already confused see all these, wars, killing over it, Constantinople and know that that’s nothing to do with the gospel version of the faith. Worse, they reject all interpretations and the core basis along with … well, it’s throwing out the baby with the bathwater, so to speak.

1. Dunno but my spidey senses tell me there’s something off with the widow. Was she a beard and CK was in the closet? Idk. She seems to show little concern for those children which imo and others’ should be her first priority not TPUSA. Are they her real children or hired actors like Obummer’s alleged kids. Too many anomalies for me at this point in time. Also her parents links to intelligence services is a big hmmm.
I reserve judgment.

JH: Just a word from me at this point … those two posts of mine referred to were HERE and HERE. Here’s Toodles:
“🍭 has converted to that denomination with nuns and priests and such. She is militant about it. Her husband seems to be as well. He grew up in that faith or maybe at some point converted to it. According to her he is very knowledgeable and serious about his faith. Well good for him. He must be right because they both say so.
Anything but her faith is wrong (in her eyes). She parrots what other ones of her faith say and so do other people no matter what the topic is. Her church is the oldest ….Peter started it and so on. I know they make all those claims, but is she right? I have different thoughts on some of that about the early church. Besides the point…except her church says certain things that are not consistent with God’s Word, from my understanding.
I don’t recall Jesus telling the disciples to chant and wear pointy hats like the Pharisees! That is a drop in the bucket of things her church says members must do to be saved.

Main thing is we have people who are in the world who are doing everything possible to undermine the Message and the messengers. As Christians we must always keep focused on our mission … as Christians. It is not a part time thing being a Christian. It is a way of life….and the Way to eternal life.
Anyway, Cheere is very thoughtful with her reasoning whether anyone agrees totally with what she says. I thought you might like to hear.
