    From the narrator a great deal of praise for the engineering of such a vehicle and the war-time imperatives that shaped its design. I’m sure the users, if any are still with us, would have something more to add about how it performed in battle? Still, it did what it was designed to do and it did it well – which is more than can be said for the AFV that is set to replace the Warrior:

    • To add to the tale of woe over the brain rattling bone shaker of an armoured fighting vehicle called Ajax (£10 million a pop), our Army is now smaller than it was 200 years ago. Oh, and a London tube driver now earns more than an RAF Typhoon fighter pilot. We’re in the twilight zone alright.
