As for the ladies’ dressing room scene, I once had an experience like that … I was in a play, Thornton Wilder’s Our Town, playing the young lad, being a young lad at the time … we all have to do it, unless female or mutilated. Anyway, I’m with some of the cast in the interval, going to the next posish, when there’s a crowd of female voices coming the other way and they were near starkers, certain things bouncing around. I can remember not being terribly impressed, being but a lad … they were all growed up and much bigger than piping voiced me. That’s all.
