2. A word about other European languages

Yes, I’m well aware of 1788, and of Trafalgar, and of WWs 1 and 2, and of Crimea, and of Crecy etc. And I want none of the Fabian communist EU where the power positions are unelected and even if they were, the stoopid Continental peoples, like ours, would vote a wolf in to look after the sheep.

At the same time, it does help to be able to at least gain meaning from Euro text such as that above. It’s not brainpower, it’s just familiarity with Latin, patterns.

For example, “los españoles en Barcelona ya son minoría” is fairly obvious, I’d have thought, in the context of our invasion woes across the west. I don’t speak Spanish or Portuguese beyond a few words and yet the overall thrust of that post is not all that difficult to understand in visual form.
