I write that positively, not negatively. One of my failings is only having two speeds … stop and go. Encompassing everything needed in a sentient day (about fifteen hours for me), I often cover something, then am onto the next topic.
Even the post item heading just now will anger some, even friends who need time to dwell, to process. “Wall to wall” suggests I wish to move on. No … not really. We must process, which is why I suggested yesterday to just commemorate until after September 13th, then formulate plans to strike back.
One characteristic of “our” side, from all walks of life, is a rediscovered implacability, a backbone, a brick wall mentality. This is summed up by Chanel:

I saw Erika Kirk being helped down the steps from Airforce Two by Usha, very sad. DJT will be at the Arizona funeral … good. Be careful, Donald … there are enemies inside.

My past few weeks have hovered around the end of the 60s and something which happened. The end of the 50s was hazy for me, vague recollection of seeing a women’s journal cover with “leaping into the 60s” on it. IYE indicated he pretty much ended his musical charts phase near the end of the 70s.
End of the 80s saw me back here, over in the west riding and on a trip to Yurrup. End of the 90s saw me heading for Russia. End of the noughties saw me getting reestablished here. End of the tweens you know … just before N.O. was stolen. End of this decade? 🍿🍿🍿
End of the 80s music? Pretty dire to my mind … the rise of rap and MC Hammer, Betty Boo, boy bands, mid decade was The Macarena. One band was Twenty4Seven. 1. Housekeeping
a. Preventative measures
There are measures such as shooting CK at the most extreme but there are all sorts of cyber measures. One is the straight out hacker … malevolent people who are in it for the damage or for what they can get out of it.
I have severe restrictions, suddenly, on screenshots. A middling tech savvy person will know what this means … it means having to state things in text like this, rather than as part of the photo. And there are all sorts of bots to read and then take action.
Organisations doing this range from gummint sections to providers to platforms to device companies themselves … compatible with and communicating with each other. Aim is an all encompassing net, involving up to a million apparatchiki and trillions of reading mechanisms.
Long and the short is that I’ve suddenly lost about 55% of my capacity to bring you news, at exactly the same time Steve dropped all those urls in comments. Now, there are ways around anything (adapt and improve) and the way around this is that I rely far more now on our readers understanding and using our system here.
b. Systems
Our system at UHC is that there are different front pages (see navbar) and each post has a comments section. Each has its own input from various people. MMutR and I are great believers in pen and paper … dead tree we call it. Some onliners use journals, some binders … I use sets of A5 notes clipped together, each set having a purpose.
For example, were you to follow UHC, you might have a Jimbo file somewhere, a daily scribble down sheet on top, as you would for medical, utilities, gummint etc. So … were Steve to drop a whole load of urls in comments, the best way to get back to that in a week is to jot down, say:
… or some part of that line, say from the 2025 slash to play-6, which should find the post a week from now.
You could of course do it to a file you have there online but we prefer dead tree for these things … electrical and electronic things can crash the whole time. Beautiful device you got there, guv, pity if something were to happen to it.
c. Extracting the emotion from it
Emotion is understandable, even designed in by external malevolent people. For example, one girl on X yesterday was in tears over CK, hundreds of girls were … we boys tended to be gutted before recovering. However, the moment they released the full footage of the Uke girl, ditto back with Lola, as evil psychologists well knew, it was going to wreck most men instantly.
Now, should someone hit us boys with a message right at that moment, I’m not sure most guys would be able to function for awhile. Were we able to prevent the horror … different matter, obviously we’d jump in instantly … but in the situation we were in, we were just nauseated. Not unlike Sarah Connor at that wire play area fence, just as the blast hit. Whole thing quite designed by fiends to incapacitate.
Our survival depends on a tricky juggling trick … suspending emotion for a short time in order to survive, but never expunging it completely, as globopsycho did long ago in Themselves. To lose sentience, feeling, altogether, is the creation of a new monster in what was once ourselves.
