(2059) In critical condition.

(2029) Shall see what I can find.

Hannah Nightingale, The Post Millenial: The shooting took place around 12 pm local time. Charlie Kirk has been shot at an event held at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. The Utah Valley University stop was part of Kirk’s American Comeback Tour, which is scheduled to hit numerous campuses across the nation in the fall. Video taken at the scene showed the crowd fleeing the area, while another angle appeared to show the moment Kirk was shot. https://thepostmillennial.com/breaking-charlie-kirk-shot-at-utah-valley-university-event

17. Alexandra and the monster

Imagine a monster, so terrifying and dangerous, that everyone in the village has to be locked in their homes to stay safe. These villagers desire freedom. They’re tired of being trapped. So they start a freedom revolution to slay the monster. After a long struggle – and a lot of lives lost – the monster is cornered and it is decided to imprison the ‘powerless’ and injured monster.

The villagers feel this makes them morally superior in their victory. After all, they’re free now. Why not keep the monster alive in captivity? It’s a good reminder, surely…

Five generations pass. The new villagers don’t remember that it’s like to be prisoners. They don’t know what it is to truly fear something. They see the trapped monster as a victim. They believe in freedom so deeply (as an abstract idea) that they start activist campaigns to liberate the monster and set it free so it can frolic peacefully in the wilderness.

A few historians try to warn them about what happened last time, but the young know better. Those old stories are lies, they say. And they have them re-written to paint the monster as a misunderstood creature that was wrongly attacked by medieval peasants.

And so after endless protests, the monster is set free. It turns around and eats the useful idiots holding open the cage doors and then chases the villagers back into their homes until every door is locked and every person is trapped by their self-inflected mistake. To have freedom for the village, the monster must be enslaved.

This will always be true.

There’s an issue here … it’s Malone (see navbar Other above where we watch him). I’ll run it here with that proviso.

  1. I’m hearing reports that Charlie Kirk has been shot whilst speaking in Utah? The Trumpster just put out on Truth Social asking for prayers for Charlie.
