We ate our first tatties from the garden yestreen. By golly they are better fresh. Mm. And today my beloved brought in our first apple. Tydeman’s Late Orange, since you ask. (I thought I’d get the boast in before we taste it, in case it’s absurdly acid.)

We have accidental tatties (don’t know where they came from!) but haven’t investigated yet. The apples are not ripe yet. The plums we’ve had so far are now transformed into 15 jars of jam. And the rotten ones have been taken by my Beloved to make wine.
Meanwhile, the courgettes and the runner beans continue to go absolutely crazy!! Beans are easy to preserve. The courgettes not so much. I might have to do a lot of roasted veggies to use some of them up. Then maybe a courgette cake? We’ll have to see!
