  1. 5. Andy at 1090 – Iraq (Blair), Libya (Cameron), Ukraine (Johnson). We’re up to our necks in it. The new head of our Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) is the granddaughter of Constantine Dobrowolski, a long deceased Ukrainian soldier who served with the SS during WW2. She goes by the name of Blaise Metreweli but that is the surname of her mother’s second husband David, a Georgian. Her father’s surname was Dobrowolski however he later changed it to that of his stepfather. She’s a strange choice indeed. Stranger still is UK foreign policy in Eurasia since the reign of Queen Victoria.

    • We constantly being told that Russia is our enemy yet, as you say, we have been their enemy for a very long time. A time encompassing their Empire, the Soviet Union and now the Federation. We aren’t alone there either, France, Germany, Poland, Turkey and any number of Stans have had a go at one time or another. It seems to be an obsession.
