“What an excellent filum! I have (somewhere) a VHS tape of “The Last African Flying Boat” which followed an attempt at recreating the old Imperial Airways routes, using a Consolidated PBY-5 Catalina. Whilst a more modern design than the aircraft shown here, its cruising speed wasn’t that much faster, and the view out must have been wonderful on a good day – not so in bad weather, which none of these machines could climb above.”

Toods provides a YT short on big cities and how they make denizens and visitors act … which the narrator terms “the bystander effect” … she adds that Our Father does not really like big cities, she’s sleeping now in the US but will look for the verse after that.
It’s true, that … that effect … and to my mind, it’s horrible, as that’s precisely what people have done through the ages … anonymity in the crowd, watching the victim abused, nobody stepping in. It’s an effect much beloved by the psychos both above and imported.
