7. DAD at NOWP today

Right … well, we’ve a situation again and readers were asked over and over to euphemise at NOWP, to code certain core words, otherwise it would cause them trouble later, plus cause me. Did I make the law in Westminster? It was our Beloved Sausage, n’est-ce-pas?

There are patterns we look for … with DAD, the drop comes into NOWP between about 0500 and 0545 as a rule … it’s rare when it doesn’t, my first thought was DAD’s health. Because I was posting other things, I thought to come back later … then DAD 2 pinged … aha!

Went to 1085 … he seems to have posted DAD 1 earlier, possibly around the usual time. There was a notice about it in DAD’s text. So I went looking:

So … nothing in spam, nothing in trash, let’s see over in my mailbox. Nope, nothing had come in at all from DAD … oh hang on, DAD 2 just arrived. Ok … check spam and bin. Two in spam, both DAD, with a notice for me:

Uh huh. 1075 and 1077 they were. Yet afa I know, both those were up at NOWP. So … why did DAD 1 today not show any sign of even being received? Well, we could go all day with this … Macron and whoever the PTB in France are, there’s British law, outlawing any reference to a certain cult, on pain of being swatted and prosecuted, there is the US WP itself, Apple, BT, ipad … any number of gremlins could have caused it.

Thing was … no sign whatever, esp. not in my inbox, which is quite significant. Now … it’s not just a one-off … we’re allocated naughty points, sort of like on UK roads … not only the comment author but the admin, over time. Anyone remember July 26th at N.O.? It would be very, very nice if NOWP did not go down, as there are sites and codes running off it.

Therefore I’m going to have to censor … for reasons which are obvious. Use some other term than those anathema to the PTB, or I’ll have to change it in the text myself (euphemise). What concerns me more is that the comment did not appear at all … in other words, pre-crime removal, as in Minority Report.

There’s one more thing … any current post on NOWP, I can’t access … not officially … they’ve changed the theme permissions. All right … here’s bowdlerised DAD 2 (no sign anywhere of DAD 1):

Hmmmm … apart from the word Uke, I see nothing else in there which they could object to, hence it went through in both places. I’m now going to need a hiatus to go back through NOWP some distance and “adjust one or two pieces of text”. See y’all soon.
