Let’s make the Russkies such as Brosnan the villains again, as China and the jihadis … well we’ve done them already each day, n’est-ce-pas?

A review:

“I wouldn’t consider this movie a “classic” or even particularly “great”, but for some reason I really enjoy watching this film. I haven’t read the book, however I used to own “The Fourth Protocol” computer game for the Commodore 64, and was vaguely familiar with the basic storyline.

I can’t pinpoint what exactly it is I like about this movie, but I did enjoy seeing Michael Caine as a British agent tracking down the nuclear bomb. I could probably watch a whole series of films based around his character. I also liked some of the other characters and I think it had a good cast of actors. The workings of government agents was very compelling to watch, but it was good to see that the film wasn’t overwhelmed by ridiculous gadgets and stuck to the drama involved.

The 80’s technology in the film also had an element of nostalgia about it. This film reminds me of a bygone age of the BBC Micro and Ford transit vans. In fact, I love watching the film just to see the various parts of England as well.

I liked the fact that its a rather ‘quiet’ movie, but I do think it needed to be re-edited. Some parts of the film just skimmed through major plot developments without giving them time to breath, and other times the film would show a character hopping from various locations in England without giving a sense of the travelling in between. Watching this film would give the impression that England is only about 10 miles wide! Some elements of the film really needed to be fleshed out a bit more.

This isn’t the sort of movie I would go to a cinema to see, its more of a “Friday night in” movie that I would watch on TV. I would only recommend it to someone if they were die-hard fans of this genre.”

10. Starmer lets slip what we already knew

In warning Trump not to attack Iran, The Beloved Sausage mentions jihadis up and down the country who’ll attack. Nice to hear the plan from him.

And then, of course, as a demonstration, word went out to the jihadis about Brize Norton. At the same time, secret meetings about how best to implement the Slamophobia Blasphemy Law went ahead recently:

Brize Norton – Voyager are Airbus A330 MRTT (Multi Role Tanker Transport) aircraft. This was sabotage of a strategic military asset. That raises the crime to the level of treason. Whoever did it should spend many years in prison. That is all.

Guido reports….

Protesters from Palestine Action managed to gain access to RAF Brize Norton and spray red paint into two Voyager planes. Zipping around unabated on electric scooters and leaving undetected…

“We all know about these long chain molecules called forever chemicals. What I didn’t know was the where, the who and the when of them and how they were inflicted upon us by corporations who knew of their toxicity. The linked utub opened my eyes to all of the above but surprisingly taught me that djt has reversed some of the recent advances in reducing our exposure. Some of his appointees have history with the corporations accused of serious crimes. | https://youtu.be/Y0lsLnXX4U8?si=URzD2iungJOJRWqb | Please don’t think that I am some green activist by putting this here, I just want to turn on the tap for fresh, clean water, to cook in pans which won’t make me sick and to eat food which won’t poison me.”

My two bob’s worth (to employ and antiquated expression):

Back in my university days as a student, not so very long after the student uprising in Paris, there were the students, yes, green up to their gills in both adopted colours Green and Red but also green as to why we were not universally loved when all we wanted was to ‘save the planet’.

Then there were the Old Labour working class (Jarrow March etc.), led by Union Leaders who were often Scottish but also often Scargill types … they became quite well off, as do the Islington set today. My comment is that nothing was quite as it seemed, nor was Maggie, with her son in Africa, not unlike Ginge and Whinge today.

To say that the landed gentry were not Green is not correct … for example, North Yorks heather which requires burning off for regrowth … yet the enemy at one point was the Duchy of Lancaster which had authorised the cutting off of heather to sell to some Dutch firm … huge swathes of it … those up in arms were certainly not the Left, Labour … they were dyed-in-the-wool Conservative Party.

What Andy brings up with an apology needs no apology as his concern is a universal concern to us … but not to the ideological Net Zero Wokerati. Pantomime theatrics in politics has all members of what become designated parties or camps all believing the whole manifesto … officially … when shades of opinion are nothing of the sort.

And so to this about … well, the opening blurb:

… and sshots:

… hint at the issue. The youtube itself (1.51) sets it out, the presence of the Patriarch suggesting it was not driving Christians out but driving tourists in … see what you think.

And yet it’s not far from Alexandria which has a quite loaded history, both mystically and in ancient history, lending it’s name to the Alexandria of east coast USA. Plus I still say the aim is to divest it of sanctity, just as with Notre Dame.

Bottom line … it’s not quite as clear ut as the clickbait headline would have us believe. And I’m saying that as one who’s clearly pro-Christian.

a) More bizarre rulings from the ECHR. On June 12, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) issued a judgment finding the Czech Republic guilty of a “violation of respect for private life” in a case involving one of its nationals who identified as “non-binary.”

b) Some German Green party members also have bizarre ideas. Should Germany’s AfD voters be refused organ donations? A Green Party politician launches a controversial survey on X.

c) EU climate bizarre plan: more taxes, fewer jobs, no debate. Even after green parties lost big in the elections, Brussels is pressing ahead with policies most voters didn’t choose.

d) J D Vance says… [This is not bizarre]Look, I’m seeing this from the inside, and am admittedly biased towards our president (and my friend), but there’s a lot of crazy stuff on social media…..
