La Primavera

It’s the eternal youtube choice problem. The Voices of Music version below is a tad fast for mine, compared to two others I had ready … yet it’s fuller, more complete … well let them tell us:

“The complete concerto, “La Primavera” (Spring), from the Four Seasons. Voices of Music, Alana Youssefian, baroque violin. The concerto is here presented in 4K, ultra high definition video, performed on original instruments from the time of Vivaldi.”

Isilme’s garden part two

JH first here, pointing out that it’s only fair to say that it’s just as much Reader Bob’s garden of course (he being the Beloved of the tales) but we boys tend to be happy letting our good ladies do the communication work.

Take it away, Isilme:

Dianthus

We also have beautiful dianthus flowers, and the thyme is really spreading far and wide, with tons of bees taking an interest. And the pink flowers (I forget what they are. Saxifrage?) are flowing abundantly.

Thyme

And as Beloved was weeding, I noticed all the buttercups going in the heap to go to the compost bin. I couldn’t let them go there, so I put them in a jug and they now sit cheerfully on our table, bringing much joy.

Pink flowers

I hope I haven’t sent too many photos. I got carried away with all the beautiful sights!!

6. Having said/written all the preceding

… this morning, on the n2 problem we have just now as a nation and as “the west”, I now appear to be ignoring my own strictures on the matter:

How can I put this without giving it all away? There’s a difference between a sshot and plain text. True, there’s a thing called OCR and they get around the issues there with assigned minions … but it’s still the least bad way to move.

I rated it the n2 problem … though it’s far greater in the long run and is near insurmountable without massed opposition, n1 is more immediate in the here and now … it’s the quislings who enable the enemy … always have been so.

5. Two more on gardens and produce

… with an Isilme coming up after this post, then some music.

Andy: In my childhood puddings were substantial “corner fillers”. Crumbles, pies and rice puddings with fruit from the garden meant we rarely went hungry.

The raspberry plant I bought in 2023 has spread and bears scores of fruits yet to ripen. My neighbour doesn’t use his apples, so raspberry and apple pie is going to be on the menu later this year if I can freeze some of the raspberries. Broad beans flowering yet to bear pods. Everything else, so far so good, proof of the pudding is in the eating. Jerusalem artichokes growing so fast I’m worried if they’ll bother a giant somewhere.

IYE: Our garden hedge is full of elderflowers this year. Not seen it like this for many a long year. I put it down to the wetter weather we had last year and so far this year too. Had our own strawbs at lunch time – not quite enough for two but the Domestic Goddess made an Eton Mess and added blueberries to make up.

We’ve been eating our own lettuces for the past couple of weeks along with a plethora of fresh herbs. The tomatoes I planted this year are “Noir de Crimea” just because we fancied a change – nothing political! My favourite time of year when everything is fresh, green and new before summer comes and scorches everything to a crisp. In the flower dept all the roses are blooming – the scent in the evening is nothing less than divine. In my ‘umble opinion 🙂

4. At TDS just now

… this is an excerpt:

“It’s an award winning documentary (it won Best of Festival and Best Director at the 2025 Santa Monica International Film Festival) detailing the experiences of the vaccine injured. It opens with a public gathering of the vaccine injured, and a young woman speaking of her experiences, of going from being healthy to disabled. As she tells her story, she shakes uncontrollably due to her vaccine injury.

Numerous personal stories are shown, including of people who were participants in Covid vaccine trials. Maddie de Garay’s story is told – she was, at the outset, a healthy, active 12 year-old, who enrolled in the Pfizer trial with her parents’ permission, but is seen in the documentary in a wheelchair, with a feeding tube in her nose that she relies on, as a result of her rapid descent following her second vaccine.”

Yet the PTB and the greedy privatised medical profession continue to push Big Pharma. Yesterday, a friend wrote about an experience with such a doctor … really pushing the doctor was, to medicate first, remedicate later, another customer. They themselves are under huge pressure from the cuckoo admin on huge salaries … push it or find another job.

Sunday [1 to 3]

(0528) Not a bad start time … better than 0328 or 0728. Just look at how much time these three items alone soaked up this morning, trying to sort out the deathcult issue. (0711)

3. Problem at X?

I saw the report … delivered by some gleefully … they want X stopped … and by others angrily. The angry ones are the nonWoke, inc. patriots, Christians, libertarians etc. … in other words, my colleagues and friends often quoted here.

The n1 blockage in the nonWoke brain is that we’re too “nice” … they’re playing by the old rules of civil society but make no mistake … we are in the middle of a combined assault on the west and its underpinning values, using a combination of irregular tactics, plus the jackboot. And our people have not a real clue.

Now, we NicebutstrategicallyDim people … salt of the earth, always welcome here for a cuppa and nibbles or for a pint … understand in general what the previous paragraph meant but do not understand the implications … this is irregular warfare we have now, not regular and that came through loud and clear during Vietnam … the Cong strategised, the Americans and allies bombed, blasted out … and lost the war. Why does Vlad not go for the nuke option? Why are the EU hellbent on doing so, bringing on WWIII?

Elon does not currently have a grip. WEFer Yaccarino watches him like a hawk and when she thinks Elon’s not watching, she sends her minions in to debilitate the nonWoke by all sorts of little privations that stop them doing things, e.g. stopping direct messaging between members of the nonWoke network, not displaying friend’s posts for 24 hours … anything to disrupt without actually directly destroying.

Then there is the problem of money. Advertisers are Woke, also globopsycho … very few are nonWoke. Thus the money tide keeping X afloat is drying up … plenty though for the Wokerati on X. The n1 complaint of the lowlifes, the bottom feeding Wokerati … is us. We are not pouring money in, we are not pushing a Woke narrative, we are very rude to them.

Yesterday around Britain was good … National Strike … there’s definitely a place for power-showings, very much so … but there’s also a time for oblique counter-subversion, irregular tactics. Also, ridding ourselves of Bring home the Sausages only puts in Rayner, who’s even worse.

What must pundits do? Easy … keep up the pressure, stay well, stay as safe as practicable, be careful not to trigger pretexts for TPTB to come down heavyhanded, but also to suddenly attack when least expected.

*Troubled X? What’s troubled about it? I’ve seen much from our nonWoke side … in my case, shadow-banned anyway, it has only become apparent through their words. More on this in separate post item.

a) ….The summit held Sunday, May 18, at Palazzo Chigi—with Meloni, European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen, and U.S. vice president JD Vance—showcased Italy’s new role on the world stage: that of a serious, credible mediator.

b) This text [of the French Government’s proposal for euthanasia] is really driving them crazy. Patrick Hetzel (LR) has asked that certain places be excluded from the possibility of performing euthanasia….

c) Four Maires have demanded that they can refuse to conduct marriages between a French person and a person who is subject to an Order To Quit the Territory of France [OTQF]….

d) In a major shift, the European Parliament has voted to sharply scale back one of the EU’s key climate policies—cutting red tape and costs for most importers.
