#16: of course it’s not bloody treason. The US definition of treason is very tightly drawn for reasons so obvious that it would be embarrassing to have to explain them.

But it is malfeasance. The level of deception equals that of a traitor if it can be proved she went beyond her authority to advise by making her own policy decisions, which were communicated to the public as those of the President of the United States.

I didn’t say it was. In the United States malfeasance is a charge public officials can expect if there is any wrongdoing or misconduct in the execution of their duties. To usurp the head of the executive branch of government on any matter is about as bad as it gets. I do not therefore think the word traitor is misapplied. It also has a non-legal common language meaning, as does treason.

JH: Dearieme seems not to be quite aware of Article III, Section 3. “It’s limited to two distinct acts: levying war against the United States or aiding and comforting their enemies.”
Within each of those definitions, the Democratic Party and China have met those criteria many times over through their agents, designated persons should and methinks will be charged.
If anyone had been levying war against the US then Congress would presumably have declared war against them. It hasn’t, so that feeble point bites the dust.
If Congress hasn’t declared war then who are these mysterious enemies? Anyone Hob doesn’t like? Try getting that to fly in the Supreme Court.
