  1. So much going on today, in my head. Once had the privilege of going to a NATO listening post and it had computers, linked to antennae, all daisy-changed and scanning the airwaves constantly. For what? I’m obliged not to say but the Soviets had the Brocken, up in the Harz mountains in what was then East Germany. Signals intelligence (SIGINT) in the days before mass surveillance. It’s so easy to spy on populations today, but it goes much further than mere eavesdropping now. The CCP installed ‘kill switches’ in the invertors connected to solar panels in the US: a signal sent and the whole lot shuts down.

  2. Interesting that DJT et al avoided flying over Isr@eli airspace on his recent trip to SA. Maybe there really has been a falling out between him and Nutty Yoohoo.

  3. Chagos Islands ‘deal’ is parked as Labour pursue £5 billion in welfare cuts. Seems giving away real estate, then renting it back for £18 billion, is losing its appeal with Labour backbenchers. Wonder why?

  4. Alex Philips (Talk Radio) got burnt on her show today. Two callers, back-to-back, the first was on Rupert Lowe and his run-in with Nigel Farage. The second concerned the chairman of the party and Surah 95 of the Quran. Sparks did fly. Probably somewhere on You Tube if you want.
