Thur Mat

“That this film has been reviewed as a comedy demonstrates, once again, that the British and American are two cultures [divided] by a common language. The humour here, of that characteristically British sardonic kind, is incidental to a drama of frustration, disappointment and inadequacy. The humour is just the way the British speak.”

Spoilers on what spoils the film:

“Oliver Reed’s cameo felt very out of place and was neither funny or tasteful. Also really did not buy how the crime was solved in so little time, not realistic, and Hyde at this point goes from meticulously intelligent to ridiculously sloppy just like that.”
