I needed/wanted a pair of ‘sneakers’ recently. At the time of my shopping expedition the best looking ones at that shop were by the check-mark company.
There is something deep down I have forgotten about them. Still it digs at me whatever it was/is/and will be about that company that gnaws at me…soooooo…so therefore, I did not purchase the ones I really wanted.
No doubt all the trainers everywhere are connected in some way to the yukky thems, but I SHAN’T be wearing that
check-mark on my shoe, shirt or pantalones.
I now have another reason not to buy from that dastardly company. I won’t forget the reason this time!

JH: My trusty but now fading black peak cap is Nike … such a pity … am not wearing it but have not yet thrown it out. Worse is Beaverton, Oregon itself … many tales of the Wokery in that town. Plus the meaning of Nike itself.
