(0719) Morning all … was so bone weary last evening after a gruelling training (hopefully rewarding), plus a mass of material to kick off with (embarassment of riches), plus the sun is out outside, plus the trusty coffee is by my side. By the way … Tuesday feels like Saturday to me. Have a productive one. (1119)
5. Toodles with a topic all Christians need to address
Warning to readers, esp. those claiming to be Christian … some certainly are, many are less so, biblically speaking. One thing Jesus of Nazareth was not altogether clear on, in its implications, was “turn the other cheek” and this is very much the case in point with that American lad stabbed at the track meet by the monster who did it.
Some words by Toodles after two youtube links. It’s not often I recommend a YT over what we can find ourselves but in this case, both are excellent, they lay it out clearly, graphically, plus challenge the whole Christian attitude to this question. And yes, it IS vital to confront and sort this out in our minds … it’s explained in more detail further down. The two links:
Must emphasise that the comments further down are undercut if one does not take the time to at least skim-view both videos fully … I say that because near the end of the second, the host puts his own view, which I quite agree with and if you miss that, you miss the bit this whole post item turns on.
And yes, it does affect our future auto-behaviour towards monsters, our insta-reaction, big time.
Toodles introduced it this way:
“Listening to Body Language Guy. He is saying same thing I said the first time I watched that dad. Cuddlesand I saw it in real time. It was sad and all that….but strange….very strange. I am not sure about all of that situation presented to us, the reality of it. I would be curious as to what Mark Mathis has to say*.
That dad must be something else…already forgave the murderer. I am not sure I am even over it enough to forgive the perpetrator. The fella wielding and then stabbing the knife into the heart of his opponent bypasses any plausible or logical reason to murder. I don’t even know the victim and am not ready to forgive , yet!
It really makes no sense. Why would a participant stab to death his opponent especially in front of a witness and then hope to participate in the very thing we are told for which he killed the fella.
That is what I call cray cray and nonsensical. Cold blooded murder never makes sense. But still that makes no sense either.
I just think the whole thing is very odd.”
……
(Continued 0845) Hello again, readers … so to get to the point(s), there are certain truisms, imho:
a. Before any sort of forgiveness is given, there needs to be remorse, regret, understanding on the part of the miscreant.
b. In the absence of that all important set of steps within the miscreant … then our own reaction can be twofold:
(i) Forgiveness as a weapon of shaming, as in Paul’s Romans 12:14-21 … coals of fire and the rest of it, which ties in with MMutR’s notion of immediately dropping into a calm demeanour, not into anger as did Anakin Skywalker, making him Palpatine’s slave to fury. They have you the moment they can manipulate you to rape, maim and kill.
(ii) The previous one assumes you’re dealing with ordinarily rational people in an ordinarily civilised society, not with automaton monsters, which is what cults create, even your sons and daughters … from globopsycho to the deathcult taking over Britain just now, to the Japs of WWII or the Chinese or the German people or Lt. William Calley or John Kerry bombing a village for the hell of it one day.
c. Now this is precisely the rub, ladies and gentlemen. If you give yourself over to anger … remember not to get mad, but get even instead … if you become slave to the others’ dysfunction or inadequacy, if you do things entirely out of character or worse => if it’s in character, when pressed … not good.
This latter is precisely why I avoid afap being pressed and take steps not to be pressed. What does a wasp do, a scorpion, a stingray, when pressed? A Yorky terrier, that little thing? Even a kitten? Inadequately too.
……
(Continued 1019) And so to the key point where I need to be very, very careful with the Trinity. The point in “c” has all manner of scripture supporting it … but the point in “d” now is less attested and yet it is, imho, just as vital. Think of the helpess Eloi in The Time Machine, think of the Brits and Europeans now under the jackboot of the globalist stasi.
Think of DTJ very much not under the same jackboot we are … and yet … and yet …
… there is still Netting the Yahoo and the zion lobby, which is far more than just a lobby … and he is certainly in thrall. I’m in thrall too … but to the Triune God, the Trinity. You are in thrall to your god or demon. A child is in thrall to his emotions, controlled by forces he/she neither understands nor thinks about understanding … that comes later …
… unless Millennial or a Gen X woman, lefty hippy types … or wispy bearded, Jesus sandal men or one of the LBheebeegeebee types. There is such a thing as morally and spiritually retarded and I do know some in their 40s who are still children in the head. Or in thrall to the MSM … what it tells them to think, they think … plus they project precisely that onto those not in thrall to the Narrative … or at least in thrall to a different narrative.
Everyone has a narrative. Rationalist Humanist Sientifik types who think Science and Tech are the ultimate arbiters, poor sods, thinking they have reality at their fingertips … they’re just as dangerous to society as cultish “Christians” who wear the cross like Welby, US Megapastors or the Pope. Women Bishops are a dead giveaway.
Or the Great Philosophers lot … quoting Aristotle, neoPlatonism … don’t think anyone quotes Kant today.
Or the Eastern mysticism fanatics, inc. yoga.
Or ancient Egypt, as the Illumined and Masons are into, plus the Great Architect … all are in thrall.
You remember the first Mummy film when the third main character found himself in a chanting, murderous mob chanting Imhotep? He did well, turned, went with them, also chanting Imhotep but escaped at the first opportunity. What I’m getting at is that if you find yourself in with that lot or Scottish pagans on Summer Isle (Wicker Man) or any of the other cults … youze in trouble, matey, unless you can escape.
And even Christian “Churches” … if your belief creed does not accord with their denominational dogma to the letter, then you’re also in trouble, matey.
Thus WASPS and the Roman Cult do clash … as do Roman and Orthodox. Think of St Bartholomew’s Day. And who are the stirrers, the ones ordering: “Kill! Kill! Kill!”
Yep, it’s the Priestly Caste, is it not, in its High Regalia robes and incense, candles, rigamarole of much chanting, pointy hats and robes.
As for that White House Officially Appointed “Christian” wanting your $2000 sent to her … dot dot dot … that’s just as bad as the indulgences scam in middle England. (See Chaucer.)
(1107) Back to the central question as a result of the two vids above … what should be our reaction?
The answer’s not easy … is the monster doing the killing rational? No. By definition not, unless there was a clear attack using weapons and/or numbers (clear self-defence).
N1 priority? Disable the monster … natch.
After that comes “proportionate punishment” … punishment fits the crime. Statutory punishment, as MMutR is always saying. Lawfare judges are the worst and need removing … end of story. “Unfortunate childhood” plays zero part in it. If he does the crime, then he is served the same way in turn … yes, execution.
To my mind, what Jesus was referring to was: “Insofaras you can live peaceably with others … do so. Personally. Oneself. But if it’s a societal thing, like a murder in public … then there must be unalterable codes of punishment … proportionate. Not as the deathcult do. Yet not negotiable.”
When everyone understands consistent consequences and they have been in place a long time … then it needs a two-thirds referendum vote to alter. …/END.
……
*Looks like Mark Mathis won’t be saying anything at this point, as IYE appears to have disappeared from Unherdables … there could be any of half a dozen reasons, no point speculating. (Update at 1125 … resolved, thank goodness.)
4. Isilme

Beloved is the one busy in the garden. We planted bulbs earlier so we have a few tulips popping up, and the very established grape hyacinths. And a couple of ‘Russian snowdrops’ which, for some reason, are blue. Blue with cold, maybe…..? Oh, and our saxifrage and aubretia are going crazy. The plum trees are covered in blossoms so I hope we don’t get frost.
We went for a walk the other day and it was lovely. The celendines were out in force, and the wood anemones. It felt so much like spring. Today we walked by the river. I love watching the flowers appearing.

a) The district court has sentenced EDF Renewable, which manages five wind farms on the Causse d’Aumelas (Hérault), for some thirty wind turbines responsible for the deaths of several protected bird species.
b) …It is not only wind generators that cause problems…
Belgium’s grid operator Elia has warned that the country could face blackouts – due to an excess supply of solar energy.
c) France tops the league!
Germany is no longer the leading destination for asylum seekers in Europe, according to an internal EU Commission report accessed by Welt am Sonntag.
d) In the French press, it is traditional for newsrooms to publish hoaxes in the form of authentic information on April Fools’ Day. The Catholic website Le Salon Beige played along, announcing that U.S. Vice President JD Vance was coming to France to participate in the significant traditionalist pilgrimage to Chartres. The left was taken-in.
1. Violets and Toodles
Some time ago, Isilme sent violets and suddenly, overnight, Toodles has sent a pic of what I presume are violets … horticulturally, I’m hopeless … still trying to sort out jonquils from daffodils from those other yellow and white flowers … think there were other flowers too but can’t put name to flower or tree.
Anyway, the south-eastern US, Toodles variety:

Trump’s reputation is tanking the longer he associates with that woman. Some say he appointed her to expose her but that just makes him look foolish. He did the same with Fauci and Birx and that went well.
