Paraskevidekatriaphilik Day [1 to 3]

(0131) Welcome to this Godly moment of awakening in the wee hours, our time, and these are a most unusual first three items today which, if you’ll cut me some slack, I’ll take us through … remembering of course that our posting order is first below, latest above.

The thought running through my mind upon awakening was just how fragile the internet is … this thing we take for granted, similar to Musk tootling off to Mars … piece of cake yes, whilst bearded orcs gather in hotels and in purpose built housing across the land back here.

Remember what happened to Hobbiton whilst the gallant rag-tag were off fighting the far-away war for civilisation? (0309)

3. Our lives just now are dependent on Peter Principlers

Apologies for the mongrel word principlers but you’ll get the drift … Biden, Wray, Schiff, Harris, those judges, AOC, Sunak, Badenoch, Starmer, Reaves (sic) … they are supposedly in charge … in thrall more like … whilst this thing we take for granted, similar to Musk tootling off to Mars … piece of cake yes … all the while, bearded orcs gather in hotels and in purpose built housing across the land back here, poised to pounce and convert us or slaughter us, as is their whim.

Most ordinary people, previously used to sedentary lives of civilised non-stress, relative to, say, the middle-east, Africa, the Ukraine, many on benefits or work from home, whilst drug and paedo in the young is rampant and pensioners struggle to heat their homes, slaves to the indoctrinating MSM, resenting us calling all this out, as we warn: “Wake up! Wake up!” …

… many of us are ag(e)ing … unevenly … two partners ag(e)ing at different rates and what we need, apart from entertainment, is little or no shocks to the system, n’est-ce-pas? We need predictability, not being interrupted, not having things piled upon us … I for one cannot handle, these days, more than one thing at a time … no multitasker, moi.

Thus I for one take things in series, not parallel, do one job at a time, knowing that if I don’t, the whole thing falls down. I leave notes to myself, need A5 sheetlets to jot things down on. I need to go to NOWP after this, check that it’s all been posted and lettered, then another shot at sleep, part two, with deliveries coming later.

The words “Peter Principlers” is cruel when applied to good people, people we love or like, with good hearts and moral compasses, competent within the range we can expect … but how can we expect a near 24 year old with a certain amount of life experience to be a guru … at least she is on an upward learning curve:

Bannon should know better, like a proud dad, that his protege can only do so much, sharp as she is … yes, I’m referring to the current war room episode again. This observation stems from love, not from the opposite. We need seasoned warriors just now … there are a few around on that team, thank goodness.

Over here? Looks to me like Reform or nothing, this time with Nigel hopefully not selling out.

2. Paraskevidekatriaphilia

The word for the fear of Friday the 13th is paraskevidekatriaphobia. It’s a combination of Greek words, with paraskeví meaning “Friday”, dekatreís meaning “13”, and phóbos meaning “fear”.

As it’s a lucky day for me as a rule, then clearly the “phobia” part had to be changed to “philia” … however, that’s too close to the current blight on the world, starting with “paedo”, so it seemed better to change the “c” for a “k”, as in the post title.

1. Series and parallel

The internet is sooooo fragile, where one broken link in the chain, from airtime provider to blogpost … only one required … is sufficient to plunge the Christmas fairy lights, and the room, into darkness:

In a train of thought flow, I thought to brush up on series and parallel:

Series and parallel are two types of electrical circuits that differ in how components are connected and how current flows through them:

Series:

Components are connected in a single loop, one after the other, with no branches. The current flows through all components at the same rate. The voltage across the circuit is the sum of the voltage drops across each component.

Parallel:

Components are connected on separate branches of the wire. The current can take different paths through the circuit. The voltage across all components is the same. The total current is the sum of the currents flowing through each component.

Here are some other differences between series and parallel circuits:

  • Wiring: Series circuits use less wiring than parallel circuits.
  • Failure indication: Series circuits are useful for warning when a component has failed.
  • Solar panels: Solar panels are generally connected in series to increase voltage and prevent reverse current.
  • Speakers: Speakers are usually wired in parallel to improve sound quality and get more power from an amp.

Many circuits are a combination of series and parallel circuits.

Thursday [12 onwards]

(1658) Evening all … dusk plus Christmas draweth nigh.

15. AKH on Reaves (deliberate spelling)

HERE

“But the NHS still needs more money”, states Reaves, “who else do I get it from?”

“You’ve got it”, say I. “Take it from the money you’re going to spaff up against the wall in Ukraine, on Net Zero projects, on useless ‘green energy’ projects, on foreign aid for useless green energy projects, on the migrants nobody wants, on the criminal amounts of waste you and we all know occurs in all parts of the public sector. You could even slash the civil service in half and no-one would notice.”

14. In a similarly prissy, high-handed way

… to my reaction in 13 … I’ve noticed a few people yesterday and today … people I know … a bit stressed out and to my mind, it’s not just the politics nor the cold.

This was something I noticed upon my return to this fair isle after Russia … over there, the stress dissipates towards New Year, the big festivity, and then there’s real winter wonderland stuff … bbqed shaslik in the forest, long walks … and then comes Christmas on Jan 6th-7th. The downside is that soon after … around the 10th, it’s straight back to work. I’d have liked a fortnight but there ya go.

The downside for lone wolves is the isolation while everyone’s last minute shopping, sorting things, preparing the house etc. … the upside is the bliss of not having to. I finished my Christmas buying today, wrapping tomorrow, the blog’s Christmassy, the stress is low at home.

13. Now and Next

HERE

“Watching the PM and Kemi Badenoch go at each other over immigration today, an independent observer might be inclined to conclude despairingly ‘they’re as bad as each other.’ And so of course they are, what with the faux Conservatives having looked at Blair ‘The Master’ and decided that was the model to follow from 2010 onwards.”

12. Steve and war room at 906

First time I think … correct me if I’m wrong … that I’m not summarising as it’s all about Wray.

Frankly, though they’re justified about crowing over Wray, plus Bannon went through so much … so yes, there is every justification, chaps and chapesses … hmmmm … I’m not so sure though that it’s a good look, the nyah nyah n nya-nya.

I’d prefer them to maybe say one word: “Vindication.”

Thursday [9 to 11]

(1321) Afternoon all … already. Still bleah out there. (1337)

11. A Streetcar Named Desire

Technically a feature … as there’s a filum coming, thought I’d drop this in here, thereby giving that 911 motif:

10. Bovaer

This thing is, of course, global:

9. As Steve mentions across the way

Thursday [5 to 8]

(0826) Looks a nothing day out there. (0923)

8. Labour ALWAYS mess everything up as govt

7. More on Caitlin Clark

The only way that tweet could be remotely acceptable is to take a look at the poster, the author, the demographic. If bros are saying this … weeeeellll……

6. What chance a new party taking govt?

Hmmmm … I’d have said, even two weeks ago … forlorn … but jow not so sure it’s not possible, esp. given Badenoch’s performance so far. Just why do Tories insist on culturally foreign leaders … they saw where Sunak got them. Answer is wets, Woke leftist quislings, as loyal to God and country as the Chief Communist, Mr. Wooden Top.

Farage is certainly setting out to charm and undermine the Tories, the dries … but this thing is not just ideological, is it? There are crimes to conceal, ££££s to be made on the side.

5. We each have hobbyhorses we get back to

… one of mine being men and women finding a way to work together, involving give and take from BOTH parties. Another of my hobbyhorses is this:

In realpolitik, aspirations are fine for the poets and philosophers but to achieve them, there must be political will, plus the grunt to back it up, plus a clear sense of purpose in many people in .

Resting on one’s laurels, being unwilling to take the necessary risk … that’s a nowhere place to be, as thugs and savages will just steal, rape and kill, challenging you to do sommit about it.

https://orphansofliberty.blogspot.com/2024/12/definition-of-human-right.html

All right, look at this a mo:

Initial thought is how dastardly, eh? But the second thought is … well why would they not infiltrate? Which group would not?

Which does come back to ultimate purpose. If the purpose is to debilitate the perceived enemy, i.e. a defensive stance, then I ask well whyever not? Everyone makes moves to shore up his or her world.

If the ultimate aim though is major regional or world conquest, then such moves take on a different complexion, do they not? In themselves … par for the course. As part of a Grand Plan … to be stopped at all costs.

Which brings me to the next point … the myrmidons and followers are one thing … I don’t hate these, I despair of their brainwashing. However, puppetmasters with grand aspirations involving taking from us … they’re implacable enemies.

Hate? I’m not sure what the mindset should be. Hate Starmer? Oppose in a deadly, stonewalling way, not the slightest concession to him? Well of course. Hate? I moreso hate the consequences, the horrors themselves and determine to stop him any which way I can.

Then again, that’s just me.

Thursday [1 to 4]

(0630) And a fine dark t’be sure! (0704)

3. Call it curious scepticism

… call it what you want but first there was Caitlin Clark, the basketballer, whom our side of politics embraced as she was physically attacked on the floor multiple times, was made Time person of the year, suddenly went full Woke, the idiot, losing her entire base in one go … at least one can understand why … she must play these malcontents who resent her ability, colour and fame.

Fine, ok, she has to live with em. Now DJT is man of the year? Deserved, yes, logical choice, do not wish to find themselves in hot water … but but but … any trace of Wokerati in him?
Well, in a way, yes … wanting to be lived by all, which is a bit different to wanting to be President for all. That Warp Speed for a start … terribly manipulated etc. etc.

All right, this is the new DJT, meaning new strategies from the baddies, sneaky strategies, flattering him. Look … to an extent, he needs to be fair, firm and friendly, yes … but to think that lot of unprincipled nutters would actually reform and love him? Seriously, how naive.

2. Steve at 905

Four: Turkey Bombs US-Allied Kurds in Syria While Backing Radical Islamist Groups, Giorgia Meloni Assassination Plot, UK to ban puberty blockers, more….

Three: Wray resigns (not in capital letters ☺️), TIME person of year, much more…..

1. DAD drops at 906, time marches on

    a) Living in the past. Who said that the Isl*m*sts were still living in the 700s in their minds.

    b) More living in the past. These two are still in 1905. On December 9, 1905, Parliament voted on the law known as the separation of church and state. Almost a century after its adoption, two teachers from Aveyron believe that this founding text is still not applied in Aveyron.

    c) Emmanuel Macron is not expected to appoint a new prime minister before his return from Poland, Thursday, December 12, at the end of the day.

    d) Little by little the EV dream (which turned into a nightmare) is dying. The European People’s Party (EPP)—the European Parliament’s largest group and Commission chief von der Leyen’s own political family—turned against……..

    e) CHRISTOPHER WRAY RESIGNS AS FBI DIRECTOR.

    19. Andy at 905 ☺️

    18. IYE at 905

    Couple of things:

    i) Nutty yahoo is on trial for corruption this week – coinky-dink? It’s all happening over there, innit?

ii) France starts withdrawal from Chad. All happening over there too! Could be happening over here – lots of plane activity at the mo on this cold and frosty evening. 🤔
