8. Cyclists
For some years, Julia has been posting on lycra lout cyclists … during my own cycling phase some years ago, I did wonder … my interaction with motorists was okayish. Plus, I warrnt in lycra.
Then an incident occurred at the top of our road near here. There was a lycra lout up near the corner and I nodded on the way past … he went full verbal, then pulled out to come at me. Whaaaa? Man was insane, not unlike Woke women. I do see what Julia said now.
7. Below the surface
My purpose in running this again, a decade and a half later, is to say that sometimes the reader has to stir him/herself and explore. For example, try OoL after this and if you’ve been diligent, you’d have bookmarked the important scandals.
I’d further say that it’s not always necessary to use “special search engines” … you just need to ask the right questions. If a question gets very poor responses from the mainstream engines, that in itself is significant.
This is what we’re about here … not to cater for the lazy but to help those who really do wish to do due diligence. Agreed … you need a certain amount of gist for the mill to start … but after that, you learn how to do it, you learn the ropes. If not bone idle.
