“As the new year began” – but in 15th century England the new year didn’t begin in January. Why write about history if you know so little?

2. Iran

The tendency to divide into camps completely one way or completely the other is strong in humans who are there solely to push a point of view they’ve latched onto too early, not thinking a situation through dispassionately, over time, either through a priori bias or through an agenda.

For example, I was over at Gab last night, looking around, and most on the topic were almost neo-nazi, slamming Israel, calling it a Zionist operation, while the other side, Russia, not seen at all over there, say it’s the same US playbook each and every time. What they don’t add is “thereby letting the mass murdering mullahs off the hook yet again”.

My stance, after spending a few hours taking each of three side’s receipts in, is that all are, to a point, correct. Where does that leave Iran? Easier to ask where does that leave the West … answer is stuck in gung ho camps, slanging at each other. In this, the slaughtered victims never seem to count, they’re skipped past, as Alex .

Below are various views on the situation and I’m going to suggest that unless you sit through the long, long, Alex Mercouros vlog on it, in which he brings receipts from the 12 day war onwards, not only are you going to miss Russia glossing over the massacres, which it denies, but you’ll also miss the uselessness of US foreign policy, the same old, same old again:

Plough Monday

In that post, you’ll find the Mercouris vlog … I urge you again to sit through it if you would like to be considered au fait with the overview of the subject.

Without repeating them, please skip back to various post items I’ve done on Iran, from the victims’ point of view. But Mercouris does modify that view.

And now to this lady … here’s her profile:

… and here’s what she states:

Next stop is Steve, who left this last evening:

Monday 14. The issue is not whether Trump ever intended to rescue the Iranis – maybe he doesn’t have to..

Fine, so I went to comments and here are various examples, in no particular order:

And two from X from other people:

Just had a quick look at X and nothing substantial has changed … DJT has still done nothing.

Lastly, this word Myrmidon which I plan to use for the killers:

The Myrmidons were legendary, fierce warriors from Thessaly, famous in Greek mythology as the loyal army of the hero Achilles during the Trojan War, known for their incredible strength and tireless devotion, stemming from myths where they were either descendants of a man (Myrmidon) fathered by Zeus and an ant-like princess, or were themselves transformed from ants into people by Zeus to provide subjects for his son. Their name comes from the Greek word for “ant” (myrmex), symbolizing their industrious and formidable nature, often depicted wearing dark armour.
