I’d like to re-emphasise some points about nourishing unherdables. When I signpost drops (from there) over here, it is no longer primary source, it’s through my filter here, innit … human nature, no apple-logs. NOWP is the primary source for each new day and I for one do this in the morning => short prayer for the day, coffee on, correspond in emails, check in at HQ, head for NOWP, check the other outlets, then look at the blogrolls.
Back at HQ, I certainly look at comments first:
To my mind, the summary in the sidebar does its initial job … then clicking the post link in green brings up the post itself, scroll down to comments for the overview. I prefer the raw comment to my interpretation of it … one is primary source, the other (of mine in my post) … just interpretative.

7. Not sure what you are getting at to be honest. Sometimes you are too oblique in your housekeeping comments. For instance the “ rum” embargo had me wondering if you meant “Julian’s Rum” a poster on twitter back in the day and now on TS and sub stack, I think. I didn’t think I had left anything by him but maybe there was a reference to him in something I had left. However, reading Steve’s follow up lifted the veil.
Not sure if badlands is embargoed here so Not wishing to bggr up the works I left the Maduro take elsewhere as I felt it dealt with a couple of things not seen, at least by me, anywhere else.
I get that there’s a need to be cryptic but there’s a limit to the depth of the crypt.🤔 Clearer instructions would be appreciated. I have already curtailed much of what I used to post here and it is getting to the point where I’m seriously wondering if I should post anything at all. I’m fairly philosophical about that – nothing lasts forever.

JH: The rum bit is a content provider like youtube but authorities got involved in flagging it. It’s in the word humble. Everyday we run it at NOWP. ☺️
Only that one is embargoed because the platforms react badly to it, nowt to do with Steve. Badlands I’m about to read by the way. Takes a while to get to all the reading. 😎
