“There honestly is not a whole lot more I can add that the other positive reviewers didn’t already say. I do disagree with the ones who said that the movie ‘didn’t hold together’ or that there were plot holes. Not at all… Being an avid fan of Noir films I would say that this one, for one of the lesser movies, actually comes across better than many of the ‘Poverty Row’ lower budget Noir films of the time.
The one thing that struck me as very good was the way the director seemed to elicit excellent performances from all involved. I really liked the subtle nuances in personality and style that, to me anyway, seemed a lot better than the way that many of the more ‘Cardboard Cutout’ Noir characters were cranked out at the time. I really liked the way the main reporter, and the cop, and even the secretary were portrayed. They didn’t just seem like stereotypes, but actually ‘Came Alive’ in their roles which added a real richness to the story.
Take the bad guy, Dike… You only see him really in one brief scene, but I love the way he came across. Not as the usual tough talking ‘Heavy’, but actually very smoothly with a smile and genuine humour that I thought gave his character, although very brief, a nice genuine and classy touch that you normally didn’t see in the run of the mill Noir villains.
Also, and this one is SUPER subtle… The driver of the taxi when Slade is being followed, had this almost otherworldly, odd calmness and matter of fact manner when told there was a ‘Fiver in it’ if he could ditch the other taxi. Extremely brief and subtle, but in my lowly and wretched opinion it’s these little and not so little character touches that to me really add up to a very engaging and compelling film.
This is just another good example of how VERY important the director of a movie is in being able to draw out subtle nuances and performances from the actors that can really add a lot of flavour to a film.”
(0605) Still dark. Special day for me personally today … no, not my birthday. (0859)

JH: thought we’d lost DAD too for awhile.
a) Teenagers in France make the news this morning…
Quévert (22): A 21-year-old man was killed instantly in his vehicle after projectiles were thrown from a bridge targeting cars using the national road….
Accident in Alès (30): three dead — Nahel, 14, Amine, 15, and another Amine, 19 — all known for drug trafficking….
Montbéliard (25): Two 14-year-old boys have been charged with attempted murder….
b) As if Farmers did not have enough problems…. International theft and trafficking of agricultural GPS devices: Eight Lithuanians arrested….
c) Titter ye not….(Whoops, did you see what I did there?) The scene dates back to August 2023, in a gynecologist’s office in Pau. Emme, 26, a transgender woman….
… which contained an unfortunate white writing on black bkgd which the site itself does not like … wish people would stop doing it. It was by Rupert, about what we know … the GCS is indeed collecting data from posts and comments … I’ve always assumed it was so and that’s that. For some of course, should be many, it’s outrageous … they would say “public safety”. Uh huh.

a. Why would the gubmint use the websites of liquidated companies to make announcements to the public? A while ago I started getting suggested articles in my gargle home page. These all had similar designs or rather nice ai images and the web address was something totally unrelated to gubmint business. Names like presstekltd, nunnerygardenmaintenance and so on. I just did a search for the first of those named. Turns out it’s a metal press firm, in liquidation. So I repeat, why is the gubmint doing this?
b. Andy’s particular sense of humour.
1. Friday Op Ed of sorts
For some days, I’ve brought some of the IYE research to the front page. There’s going to be some more in a few minutes. I’d like to say that imho, we have not “established” anything conclusively one way or the other.
But we’ve certainly seen indicators, anomalies and bear in mind that some coming here come from other observers. Wiles and Bondi are clear anomalies and are either clear deep state enemy bent on containment, like a Barr or else under direct orders from DJT. Over here, it’s as clear as day … Chas 3’s proclivities are known-knowns, he’s not once acted out of character, nor Airmiles and Fergie. Some receipts we saw mention daughters. The Starmer bunch and rest of the Uniparty … Tories, Reform honchos, Greens, plus trad Fabians … well we know all them, they’re written up by many.
We probably have the vaxxes and lockdowns down pat by now. What we don’t have is the gameplan of a JFK or similar … fully … let’s revisit one specific aspect … the grassy knoll. There were clearly gunmen but so there should have been … not just plausible but employed legitimately to be there with guns, discteetly behind a barrier. And that’s the annoying part, intentionally so, were there anything untoward … or even if not. Same looking scenario. People ran up the grassy knoll, remember.
On most issues, we have MM input which is usually of a “never happened”, “never died” type or to add Svali … went into tunnels under the Appalachians. Throw in Denver built to purpose new airport, also FEMA camps … easily explained away, except for this anomaly or that.
Now us … our reaction to the mass of incoming, of input. My advice is try to stay circumspect until it’s nailed. Which takes a certain mind. Plus patience. We’re meant to be frustrated by lack of progress, lack of arrests … so force ourselves not to be … yet … until we can nail something. My natural reaction to Candy’s (let’s call her that) “revelations” is revulsion that a widow can be treated this way.
Two points … firstly, what’s Candy about? Just sensationalism? Who’s feeding her? Who’s Shapiro for or against? What was with the CK/Candy thing? Pure honeytrap for the CIA, designed to take down, break up, TPUSA? The money trail … always follow the money. No beg pardons in any of it. If we can nail that Erika’s a wronged woman, then the rest flows after that. CK himself seems untarnished to many … I reserve judgement, which means not saying any which way. We’re involved in investigative punditry and reportage, with trusted sources being the be all and end all.
Erika? May have been badly advised, just as with DJT, Scaramouche, Matis, Fauci, Wiles, certainly McCarthy … may be being used awfully by bad players around her … or something else … just don’t definitively know … yet.
