Monday [4 to 10]

(0900) Bleah out there. Morning. (0917)

10. The Figen

9. Inevitable too

8. Israel obviously put their best agent in there

7. Not often I’d back something Dan Hodges would write

6. Longrider with an interesting thought on inevitability

HERE

Also an interesting thought from reader Mark:

“It’s not going against advice, it’s a wilful refusal to be told anything by anybody. Me, me, me! Symptomatic of the infantilization of society.

Well, they will be getting it good and hard and I’m sorry, I really don’t have a shred of sympathy.

Oh, these two narcissists will get out sooner or later (sickening to think what price the mad mullahs will be able to extract) and doubtless (like the above mentioned Iranian born, Iranian – who don’t recognise dual nationality – passport holder) will embark on a “woe is us” tour for sympathy and giggles.

They may well find it a different country to the one they left. I do hope so!”

5. Vox with an interesting thought

HERE

“If you look at ancient history, the rivalries between Athens and Sparta, and between Carthage and Rome, all ended the same way; with the land power eventually defeating the sea power. This is because sea power is intrinsically offensive, which means that it doesn’t have much in the way of defense in depth once its advantages are counteracted in one way or another.”

4. Suppose we’ll have to cover it

One reply

  1. 4. Suppose we’ll have to cover it – indeed we should because this is the beginning of what might be the point of no return, as Wolf writes: ‘Gone are the days when the English kept quiet about their own replacement’. Societal breakdown is ugly in any area but if it spreads; domino effect takes hold, it could lead to a nationwide collapse. I watched the video DAD linked to the other day, the interview with Professor David Betz, so here’s another more recent one:

    Laptop blues:

This computer is now BER’d (Beyond Economical Repair), a term I became familiar with in the military when, during a cliff-assault exercise in Cornwall, the sea took hold of our Rigid Raider and threw it against the rocks. I’m making do with some duct tape holding the thing together but its days are numbered.
