(1045) Dislocated day so far but a long sleep-in is alway welcome. Phone off, doorbell disconnected, another snooze coming up, plus Sunday lunch … recharging batteries on all devices, inc. moi. Hope you are too. (1131)
10. The way children are brought up … part one
… part two after some music, then a TV episode.

9. The Panda
8. Wow, an item by a mere male for once, ha ha

Just scrutinise the wording there … “sensitive” information … why “sensitive”? Because the whole bloody country is up in arms over it? While they fly in invaders by night, all organisations colluding? And at the same time, threaten anyone calling it out with the knock on the door by multiple thug plod, followed by incarceration? Go to that Lord Toby item on over 60s.
Very clever … do the young care about over 60s? Well they should if they have parents (plural). And possibly inheritance.
7. How long can Rupert last before they do for him?

6. This, if true, is a disgrace
… but we knew that:
Not telling you anything you don’t already know but you read about Thune himself refusing to pass the nominations before the recess, then preventing the recess by convening every few days to prevent it being called a recess.
I read about “two grinning hags behind him while he said it” … was this Murkowski and Collins? And now it’s passed to Schumer, the minority leader, to “negotiate” with Trump, ostensibly for money.
What I get from this … over here with our own dirty politics, as you’ll see in items 7 and 8 in a few mins … is a sense of incredulity (or maybe I can quite believe it) that a minority (plus the closeness of the minority is through dirty tricks anyway) … that a minority can control govt policy, with the connivance of Senate and House leaders.
It’s been said by many on X, inc. senators and reps, that this is just running the clock down on the Trump presidency, goading DJT into a-constitutional action under emergency powers.
What hugely concerns me is the presence of Wiles in the White House. She is bad news.
