2. Penseivat

Whatever could this mean?

”As an aside to my previous suggestion, my familiy’s regular stays at Premier Inns has now come to an end, and I have messaged them so. I wonder how many other potential customers will do the same?”

I’m assuming you know that they’ve (P Inns) now bought into the housing illegals racket as well.

1. Redacted (yes, you read that right)

a. History of Sake … that is the drink, not the author Munro.

b. Hungary … “It’s now ILLEGAL in Hungary to help asylum seekers. NGOs and individuals face CRIMINAL CHARGES for giving food, legal advice, or shelter. Hungary has REJECTED EU migrant quotas — and told Brussels to get lost. This is WAR on globalist migration schemes. Orbán’s message is clear: NO to Soros. NO to EU overreach. YES to national sovereignty. WHAT THIS MEANS: The EU is losing control. Hungary just set the standard for resisting forced migration. Other nations may follow — will yours? Should the U.S. pass a “Stop Soros” law? Is it time to criminalize globalist-funded migrant trafficking?”

c. US nuclear in UK.

d. The Baron. It seems Gates of V went down for some time and his hosting service put the hard word to move to their shiny new VPN etc. We at HQ host ourselves, a novel concept we quite like.

……

JH: That was rather good, Redacted sir.

This review was positive, others were 3/10, 4/10:

“After two business partners take out double indemnity life insurance policies on each other, one of them dies in a questionable “accident.” Ace insurance investigator Richard Denning, posing as a real estate agent, comes to town to find the truth. This 1951 programmer has all the good qualities of a Republic picture– first rate supporting cast (Reed Hadley, Hillary Brooke, Roy Barcroft), exciting pacing and editing, an efficient and fast-moving script. Richard Denning (best known to younger audiences for his sci-fi films and for his appearances on HAWAII FIVE-0)has just the right combination of sauveness and toughness needed for this type of role. There are enough plot twists and mounting danger to keep everything moving at a fast pace, and overall the film is recommended to fans of 40s/50s B crime films.”

Also near the raspberries was an empty tub waiting to receive pretty flowers. Well, it had soil in it. Not terribly brilliant soil, but a poppy took a liking to it and was looking very delicate in the sunshine. And talking of poppies, I was walking to a friend’s house and came across a ‘drain poppy’!!

Drain poppy

The house martins have babies again, and what a racket they make in the mornings! I’m not sure if this is the second or third lot they’ve had this year. Our next door neighbour says there’s a swift nesting somewhere nearby as she’s seen it quite often. I hadn’t noticed! They all fly so fast though. I can’t keep track of them. Mr and Mrs blackbird picked the last of the blackcurrants but I let them. I have six jars of blackcurrant jam, so that’ll do us until next year.

Clearing the craft room is still ongoing, and I came across a daily planner. I don’t know what this modern thing is where they put capital letters at odd places throughout the word, but it’s very silly. This daily planner was covered with the word ‘notes’ and had done this odd capital letter thing. Sadly, rather than the word ‘notes’, all I can see is ‘snot’ all along the bottom of the page. It’s terribly off-putting and is probably why it’s been festering in the craft room unused! Needless to say, I didn’t notice it until after I’d bought it. (Sorry about the dark photo – don’t know what went wrong there).
