Perhaps, taking tiny steps, to help allay the fears of residents living close to these hotels, initiate a partial ban on movement of the small boat invaders. Not allowed out of the hotel before 9am, and must be back before 7pm could be a start. Breaking the curfew would lead to an arrest and a denial of asylum. The problem is that that would take a politician who really cares for the population of this country, to introduce this, and I can’t think of any of the current numpties in Parliament who cares.
