Taking a risk here … it’s in Russian, with English subtitles … pic quality good, no idea how the plot will deviate from the book, have watched some so far … seems a good cast by their lights. By far the most intriguing thing for me so far is the island itself and the perilous path leading up to the house perched on the rock pinnacle … it just screams danger and destruction.
