(Cough) Decades ago, my crew and I … well me really, I was at the helm … put my cat on the rocks when a lee shore 35 knots suddenly gusted, the waves were 12 to 15 feet and I did not respond quickly enough. We were lucky, volunteers saw the sit, clambered down and we lifted her out onto dry ground. Very little damage, thank goodness. Phone call, our trailer was driven up there, all good.
