Friday [10 to 13]

(1113) It’s become RL busy again around these parts. (1149)

13. An old friend, lightyears from home

12. Very, very true

11. And even though this is a sad situation downunder

… it does, I suppose, run a lady, which sort of makes up for the absent LatL.

Ah … that shark issue, yes. Many decades ago … trip to Queensland, surf beach, out there awaiting the wave, legs dangling in the water, either side of the Hawaiian longboard, perfect shark bait. Yikes!

Always have felt surfing is dangerous … on the other hand, certain beaches seem not to get the sharks … on the whole. Some though … do … and maybe that surfer was looking for waves further afield, who knows.

10. Now, even though there’s no official LatL today

… there are still ladies and one is the English Rose Jess Gill:

I’d vastly prefer to see and hear her in her natural element, despite the lashes, rather than in posed shots but … we can’t hear her here or even see the tweet because it uses the I word and that makes it not-on to post, for swatting reasons. Here she is.

What I can do though is run Deryl, which will give those outside Britain a better idea:

  1. 13. An old friend, lightyears from home – lovely scene, which I’ve enjoyed myself travelling in that part of France in the 90’s. If you’re on the A354 between Salisbury and Blandford Forum you’ll see similar. With the window open on the car the smell of Lavender just pours in. Delightful.
